Janice has been cutting my hair for over a decade and I couldn’t image anyone else. She’s done a variety of cuts and colors from red to blonde, and all over color and balayage. I’ve gotten from a pixie cut, to a bob, to my current shag with bangs that is my absolute favorite. She taught me how to take care of my curly hair for the first time in my life in a way that I haven’t straightened it in over a year. She helped me with vitamins to help my hair grow after I had my son and her mastery of hair care products has answered all of my questions over the years, no matter how bizarre. She continues to take classes to perfect her craft and I am so grateful for the times I get to sit in her chair and get to see my dreams come to life with her skillful hands.

Best haircut of my life. Janice has done my cuts and color for years and somehow they always turn out perfectly perfect. This may be due to the fact that she asks lots of questions and really really listens to my answers. She is phenomenal. The shop is light and beautiful and a pleasure to visit.

I have been going to Halcyon Studios for several years to get my haircut by Janice Pancake. I don't think people say this enough- your hairdresser is also part therapist and part artist. Janice is amazing as both! I love talking to her and I love seeing my transformation. Definite 5 stars!!!!

Janice is always spot on with my cut and color. I have been coming here for 3 years and I trust her expertise. She always exceeds my expectations. Whether I request something specific or ask for input I always leave feeling great! I also love that it always has plenty of parking and is conveniently located. Halcyon is a YES for me!

Halcyon studios has superstar stylists. My personal favorite is Janice Pancake! She supports your vision and will make it happen! My 13 year old wanted blue and red hair. Janice made it happen and made me mother of the year!!! Go see Janice.

I could not say enough wonderful things about Halcyon Studios! I have gone to Hilary since I was in highschool and then when it came time for my wedding her & her crew were my go to! Hilary, Abby & Macie did hair for me, my bridesmaids and moms! Susan did all of our make-up! I couldn’t of been happier. Abby has also done my hair at the studio and she does an absolute incredible job! Couldn’t recommend them enough, they are the best in the business!

Just want to shout out @hairmagicmace at Halcyon Studio for this transformation. I've gone to three hair stylists the last few years and while they've all been very skilled, it hasn't always been the best fit for me based on vegan/plant-based/cruelty free products or just their preferred approaches. I've gone to Macie twice now and appreciate her approach to color, her and the salon's efforts to be green, and also she is the first stylist who gave me an actual helpful recommendation for making my fine hair feel fuller AND was willing to give me long layers (other stylists told me it wouldn't look good on my fine hair). I plan on calling her chair my hair styling home (if she'll have me).
