Phenix Salon Suites

Katie just cut me and my daughters hair.SHE COOKED. 100,000,000,000x recommend her.She is so sweet to my daughter. And she(I know I’m kinda getting off topic)listens to you lowkey.

I usually write good reviews. Unfortunately, today, I write a bad review. I visited Stylist Kim Rojas in Phenix Salon Suites, located in Jonathan Landing Plaza. Kim had an unprofessional attitude from the start. I came 7 or 8 minutes early to my appointment. However, I was greeted by Kim saying, "Oh, you are here!" I said that, "Yes, I was here and a bit early." She seemed to be in a hurry, and this was not exactly a cordial greeting. I showed Kim some pictures of hairstyles I liked, and then I told Kim, "I appreciate your help." I was surprised when she sarcastically said, "You say, 'I appreciate your help' often." So, I made sure to avoid saying that polite phrase to her again. Later, while waiting for the color to set, I had to listen to her talking with another customer on how bartenders make so much more money than nurses. She went on and on about how she was a bartender before becoming a stylist. I realize good bartenders can do quite well, but honestly, an RN studies very hard in college and is paid a very good salary. I found her conversation irritating and a bit vulgar. It made me wonder why Kim left her job as a bartender? Later, she asked me why I thought I could wear the hairstyle I wanted. She said to me that most people my age do not wear their hair as long as mine. Kim did not offer any styling advice. This stylist was rude, in a hurry, unprofessional, and coarse. Should you decide to visit this Phenix Salon, I suggest you go to one of the other stylists. I declined the haircut and just paid Kim for the color. I am sorry I had this experience, and I will not be returning. Perhaps I would have been better off if I had gone to Company "C"?

Shereen is an amazing stylist, and a genuinely good person.

Awesome! This word is used to often i believe. But here, this is the best word, for the best stylist i have had the fortune to have. She is a stylist, but she is also a therapist. I feel wonderful !

Had my hair cut with April and couldn't have prayed for a better experience! Friendly, funny and extremely talented I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am currently loving the fresh flat top . Would highly recommend and I can't wait to go back! Best Barber in Florida seriously!

I have been going to Oceana for my haircut and highlights for the past few years. Not only does she give me the most amazing hairstyle, she is very flexible with scheduling and always gives service with a smile! I’m so sad for her to move away, but I’m also so happy for her new customers and her new adventure! Thanks for everything Oceana! I’m going miss you!💕

The Best Barber in town ! Can’t go wrong. She has a lot of experience and she is very nice and sweet. Thank you April
