I have been looking for years for someone to cut my curly hair that I trusted as much as the stylist I went to in the east village (for 15 years) - and finally have found KITTY and she is magical! When I want short curly hair - she makes it cute. When I want longer curly hair - she makes it happen. And is just a lovely human. Highly recommend the whole salon and kitty specifically.

This is our second time going to this salon my daughter wanted a pink hair for the second time with hairstylist/colorist Cindy and as always she did great. The first time my daughter had it lasted for like almost 2years and it faded into a nice color without ruining her hair and not turning it to a brassy color. It's quite expensive, but you pay for the quality of work and the great result. It took almost 5 hrs , but it's all worth the wait. I already booked for my appointment and i'm excited it will be my first time. This is our birthday treat.

Robin is a true color genius! I have been going to her for years. She nails my vision every time, blending shades flawlessly so my hair looks fresh, vibrant, and healthy. On top of her talent, she’s warm, attentive, and makes every visit a joy. I always leave Lakoet Salon feeling gorgeous—highly recommend!

Cynthia is the best. I lost my hair during chemo and it grew back all wacky with a million different lengths. Cynthia was able to give me an awesome cut and my confidence back. Clutch. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Cindy is MAGIC!!! I walked in with what you see below and was not sure how much one would able to fix here. She spent hours (8 hours!!!!) for my hair transformation and had incredible patience throughout the whole process. Even when I wanted to give up, she kept going and that speaks volumes for her dedication and passion for her work. She is incredible and I have truly never had a hairstylist who is as honest and caring as her. I am glad to say, I have found my perfect person for my hair 🤍
