I’ve been going to Tim for years, he’s an exceptional hair stylist and just an all around great human. I’ve used his haircut and coloring services. He’s passionate about his work and giving back to the community. It’s easy to set up appointments, Tim goes out of his way to find a time that works in his busy client schedule. Tim offers a personalized experience, listens to your hair goals, and I always leave with a fresh looking style. The great conversation during the appointment is a bonus. I always enjoy going to the salon for a haircut from Tim! My haircut is always consistent and I have never had concerns that I’m going to look completely different after my next cut. I always leave knowing that my haircut will be something that I can style easily at home. Tim is great at providing recommendations for care/styling and is always great at helping me work around any skin/scalp sensitivity issues that have in the past left me self-conscious after experiences at other salons. I always recommend Tim to any friends or coworkers who mention a haircut! I even scheduled his entire morning on the day of my wedding so that I could guarantee all my groomsmen would be ready for photos!

Timothy is not only a stellar stylist, he is a talented artist with an incredible eye for color and hair design. Timothy analyzes your hair and then follows through with accurate treatments , precise coloring/ highlight technique- cut/design which works for your hair. He gives the best shampoo ever with a scalp massage and his products are top of the line! He is very precise and shows you how to easily maintain your style. His salon is very clean and design forward. When you leave the salon you leave as if you are on top of the world! The compliments I receive are non stop!

I drove 4.5 hours one-way so Tim could fix my hair after another stylist completely messed up my color. I had wide purple stripes on my naturally golden blonde hair. It looked so bad that I told the other stylist I could not go to work looking that way. I wasn’t sure if it was fixable. However, Tim calmly reassured me he could get it back to my natural color, but better. The entire experience in his chair was relaxing. The finished product was a natural and gorgeous shade of blonde. Tim has been doing my hair for 20 years (when we are in the same city). He is very intuitive about what the clients wants and needs to feel fabulous!

Tim IS the BEST of the BEST!! I lived in Chicago for a decade and Tim is better than any stylist I found there! He’s been doing my hair for years and I believe he is one of the treasures of Iowa City!!

Our whole family gets our hair cut by Timothy. The salon is a happy place and it’s always a joyous occasion when we are there. Timothy is respectful, professional, and really listens when my son has a specific request. We have been going to the salon for years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else for haircuts! Thanks Timothy!!

Tim is wonderful! So thoughtful and kind with my teenager who never wants to cut his hair but will go to Tim anytime. Tim does my hair too - he can do ANYTHING!
