Studio 843 by Genc Doganay

I’ve been seeing Genc for over five years in DC, and there’s truly no one like him. When he moved to South Carolina, I was heartbroken—and so was my hair! I recently flew out just to see him because he’s the only person I trust to touch my hair now. He fixed a bad cut, did the most gorgeous balayage, and reminded me exactly why he’s such a gem. Genc has an incredible eye, listens carefully, and makes you feel completely taken care of. I miss him and so does my hair!—but I’ll gladly keep traveling (or send for him) for that kind of magic.

I found Genc 3 years ago and have traveled to him ever since. His new salon space is an added perk to his already superb cut and styling skills. Although I have tried other stylists across the country, Genc has been my "hair whisperer". He is truly one of a kind.

Genc is the best of the best! He has cut my hair for years and is great about hearing me out and giving suggestions to get the look I’m going for. I trust him fully every time and have not once been disappointed. On top of that he is kind and awesome!! There is no one I could recommend more.

I would give him more stars if I could! Genc is absolutely amazing and I am beyond thankful I found him! He not only listens to what you want or what you envision but he HEARS you, is honest if what you want will work with your hair and then does his magic. He’s truly the best!
