It’s Just a Haircut

I’ve never been happier with a haircut. Patti always has great conversations and amusing stories. Today’s conversation I would entitle, Problems with Possums, for instance. Another day it would have been The nuances of visiting New Orleans.😂 It’s like visiting an old friend even for the first time visitors to her hometown shop. It’s definitely a great deal and great cut. One more thing, she even made the lady that went before me happy because she fixed her troubled hair.

I got my hair cut yesterday. It is a no frills shop and it matches its name. The owner was a very nice lady and honestly where can you get a haircut for under $12. No hot towels, no wash, just good conversation and a haircut. Just what I wanted.

With haircut prices being jacked up to obnoxious levels lately, I figured I would give this place a try. t's a quaint little shop and the owner/barber is a very nice person. Unfortunately, my cut was poorly done. It took less than 10 minutes and one side was much longer than the other. She never once stood in front of me and examined her work. It was just a fast, careless job. I certainly got what I paid for, which was less than half of the $30 cut I got before this one. It looked like the gentleman before me had the same problem with one side being off, but I didn't think much of it at the time. I figured it got bumped or something. When I got home and looked close at my hair, it all made sense. Ultimately, I have to take a little of the blame, as she did put the mirror in front of me and I didn't see it. But seriously, she supposedly has 30 years of professional experience...

Great experience! Barber was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Felt like I’ve known her forever. If you’re looking for a relaxed and accepting environment to get a quality haircut from a more than qualified barber, stop in and check it out! You will leave with a haircut you’re happy with, a new friend, and very likely some expert life advice. Stop in and check it out. What’s the worst that could happen, it’s just a haircut…😁

I was looking for a place to get a simple haircut without spending $30. This place is perfect if you're just looking for a haircut. She does a very good job. Well worth the $12. Be aware that she doesn't take credit card!
