Icon Salon

I've been going to Icon Salon for at least 3 years now. The staff are always friendly. Most of the time I just get a wash, long-layers in my shoulder to mid-length long hair and a blowout. Sometimes the massage chairs are available during my wash which makes the experience all the better!

Went in with combed hair asked for a trim 1/2-1 inch. Was told with where fingers stopped it would be 2 inches. Cut hair completely wet and straight, which hasn’t been a good idea in prior experiences. Never showed the back of my head. After finally getting curl product out and having it done a normal routine. There were different length strands due to my textured hair. Unfortunately seems like more than an inch was cut. Was told on a call prior to making an appointment, all stylist are good with cutting curls. That was seeming not the case. Conversations were good but will not be going back.

Cute, comfortable and inviting atmosphere! You can really tell the stylists here love what they do. Each service I’ve received has been completed with the utmost care and expertise, with lots of product knowledge and thoughtful techniques suggested for my specific hair texture! I always leave feeling my best!

I went in to get my blonde brightened up and get a haircut. I asked for brighter blond and instead I left with darker hair then I came in with. I believe she left the toner on too long and it made my blonde look almost silver. I gave it a few days hoping it would lighten up a bit, instead it looks like an awkward color somewhere between brown and blond. Not flattering at all. Also my haircut is uneven, I asked for longer layers and all she did was cut straight across and left some strays. I asked for my money pieces in the front to be thicker instead they are thinner. When I left the salon I was good with my hair due to it being curled and under the bright lights, but once I got home it was a very big disappointment. I believe my stylist name was Jessica.

The girl who I had do my hair, Jessica, did a terrible job. I had to go in for a fix to end up with something I didn’t remotely like (I would’ve been fine not loving it at that point). Spent over 10 hours in there for hair that feels like straw, blotchy, and nothing like I wanted. I have a major family event tomorrow. The picture on the left is what I got, the right is what I asked for color-wise. The highlights ended up silver even when she confirmed I asked for a more caramel color and there’s no visible ombré. It’s super blotchy up top and there’s a large dark spot by my forehead. When I left the first time with black hair there were stains all around my face. I also asked for my fun undercut color to be a baby blue and it turned out bright teal even after she said she could dilute another color to get something similar to what I wanted. The receptionist and another stylist did help me out and were very kind when trying to remedy the problem. Unfortunately I think the stylist I was working with didn’t know how to listen to her clients.

Olivia saved me after a nightmare haircut at another salon! I had been to icon years prior and was hoping someone here could save me. Icon did not disappoint, they got me in for a same day appointment and were so helpful. I got a wash, cut and style and could not believe the price! The staff was friendly and the salon has such good energy, I will definitely be back!
