(Zero stars — please read before you ever step foot here) I have never been so heartbroken, humiliated, and emotionally destroyed by a service in my life. I spent over $1,000 this year at Toni & Guy because I trusted them. I believed I was paying for safety, professionalism, and expertise. Instead, they ruined my hair, injured my scalp, and completely abandoned me afterward. This was supposed to be a simple root bleach. Instead, more than 50% of my hair broke off and fell out from extreme chemical damage. My hair didn’t thin — it snapped off, in large sections. Every time I look in the mirror, I am reminded of what they did to me. What makes this even more horrifying is that my scalp was burned. It bled and developed scabs after the appointment. I trusted licensed professionals with harsh chemicals on my head and left physically injured. That should never happen in any salon. I am a teenager. I was never asked to sign any consent form, waiver, or paperwork. I placed my trust in adults who were supposed to protect my well-being, and instead they failed me completely. I tried everything to fix this. I went to Michael, who I was told was the highest-level stylist, and I also went to Jennifer. Even after paying premium prices and seeing senior staff, my hair was still destroyed. When the damage became impossible to hide, I begged for help. I asked for extensions or any kind of temporary fix so I could feel normal again. I was told they would call me back. They never did. I called multiple times. I followed up repeatedly. I was ignored. The emotional impact was so severe that I had to be removed from school. This was not "just hair." This shattered my confidence, my daily life, and my mental well-being. After all of this, their solution was handing me a few sample-sized products. Samples — after destroying over half my hair and burning my scalp. It felt dismissive and cruel. They refused to take responsibility. They minimized my pain. They acted like this was acceptable. In my opinion, this situation is absolutely serious enough to be worth suing over. Chemical burns, extreme hair loss, lack of consent, and complete negligence are not minor issues. The fact that no meaningful attempt was made to fix this speaks volumes. I am still devastated months later. I still cry about this. No one should ever have to go through this — especially not a young client. Please, do not go here. Especially parents — do not trust this salon with your children. No accountability. No compassion. Just damage and silence. This experience was dangerous, negligent, and unacceptable. A salon that treats people this way should not be operating..

For years I had an asymmetrical pixie style, loved how Toni and Guy cut and styled that look. Knowing it would likely go through some not cute stages, I was dreading growing that short hairstyle out to a longer style. I went in on a regular, consistent basis and my stylist did a great job shaping the hair to keep my hair looking great and stylish until I reached my desired length. I also love the Oribe line of product they carry. My hair looks and feels so healthy since I switched to Oribe. I've gone to Toni and Guy for 24 years!

I have gone to see Emma twice now and she has been absolutely amazing. It's not easy to get my bangs the exact way I want it but Emma takes the time to listen to my request and take my suggestions when trimming the bangs. She also communicates why she cuts my hair a certain way or what she is doing. My hair is naturally curly and Emma was able to bring out the beautiful bouncy curls I have. I haven't had any other person cut my hair from there nor do I plan on trying anyone else out.

The girl who worked on my hair is new so be very careful if you go! Absolutely horrible!! I showed her exactly what I wanted. I showed a picture of two heads next to each other. One picture was what I do want, and the other picture was what I do not want. one was straight hair in the back, the other one was layered. I said I do not want my hair layered. I had layered hair almost all the way grown out, and I was trying to get it one length. She proceeded to layer my entire head of hair, but didn’t do a good job of it either. She also said she was thinning out the back of my hair a little bit and the way she did it was to lift up half of my hair in the back and literally cut a whole bunch of my hair underneath short so that if I try to do a ponytail I have all this short stubby hair sticking out And it looks terrible. Nobody Thins out hairthat way you don’t thin out here by cutting the hair Straight off across so now I can’t wear a ponytail! And the haircut is so bad it’s the opposite of what I wanted. I’ve never in my life Had anybody mess up my hair this bad to where I can’t even wear it in a ponytail until it grows out so now this is forcing me to have to go somewhere and get it cut really short in order to fix it, and I was trying to grow my hair out! I called to talk to the manager and the manager didn’t even bother to call me back! She didn’t offer to fix it or anything.

Not enough stars for Tanner at Toni & Guy. I'm not sure how I've not yet left a review for Toni & Guy, I've been obsessed with them since I started going years ago! First, if you need color you MUST go see Tanner. I've included pictures, you're welcome. Bring your color fantasies to Tanner and he'll use your head as the canvas to make your dreams into reality, a reality you can run your fingers through and appreciate for longer than you'd think you could! The salon is always bright and welcoming, the staff are friendly and professional, everyone I've had the pleasure of meeting have been as excited as me when Tanner finished my hair. They have complimentary coffee (it's delicious), water and tea while you wait. The scalp massages when they wash your hair are INCREDIBLE. I can't say enough about how wonderful every experience I've had at Toni & Guy has been, that's why I continue to come back year after year. You should go, too! 🤩🥰

Jennifer doesn't listion correctly and purposely makes misunderstandings happen. I wanted to tried a new girl after Jennifer messed up my hair 3 times. Once she noticed I was there she stocked my account and whispered things to the new girl Maria, who then walk over to me and was rude from the start. I feel thats usual behavior for a newbie? Coincidentally she was also being trained by Jennifer. Maria claimed she couldn't do anything other then highlights and told me I would have to reschedule. This was after they moved my appointment from 4:30pm to 5:00pm without telling me. Then they had me wait an additional 10 min just to have me leave bc no was available to assist me.

I visited this establishment with high hopes of receiving a professional haircut, specifically requesting a graduated bob cut. I showed Mat a picture of exactly what I wanted and clearly communicated that I didn’t want my hair in the back to flick away. I even mentioned that if it needed to be cut a bit shorter for the desired look, that would be acceptable. Unfortunately, Mat not only failed to provide the haircut I requested, but he also reacted with noticeable irritation—almost dropping his mirror when I asked for more texture. The layering of my hair was poorly blended, and he didn’t even blow dry it properly. Overall, the result was far from what I had shown him. I am genuinely disappointed with this experience, especially since I expected a higher standard from Toni&Guy. The service I received from Mat was not only below par but also felt disrespectful. I cannot recommend this salon, particularly if you are considering booking with Mat. On a positive note, I did have a good experience with Victoria, who was friendly and patient with her clients. However, the quality and service I received from Mat were disappointing, even compared to Great Clips. If I could provide feedback without any stars, that’s precisely what I would give to Mat.
