Curls Gone Wild Salon

I had an amazing experience at this salon! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and felt completely welcomed. My stylist Tahj took the time to educate me about my curls, how to care for them, maintain definition, and avoid frizz. I left feeling confident and my curls looking incredible. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be coming back!

I don't really write reviews but I needed to take the time to say that this is THE BEST experience I have had getting my hair done. I want to preface this that I have had curly hair cuts done at the originators DevaCurl and Rizzo curls directly with the head stylist and never felt wowed. I am new to Arizona and was a little nervous about going somewhere new but I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a salon (and because I am a loyalist: my new hair stylist) AnaMaria cut my hair, she took the time to explain styling process in new ways and about curl pattern, she cut my hair and for the first time EVER I did not need to restyle it and am IN LOVE with the cut. She really took the time to understand what I wanted. She cut curl by curl checking in at different stages to see if I was satisfied with the shape. She used the perfect product for my curl type. I found my new hair stylist and if you have curly hair this IS THE PLACE. I pray that this review gets a bit lost among the others so it is not now impossible to get an appointment. HAHA

Khadija is absolutely AMAZING. I came to CGW for a consult first, and just had my first wash, style, and cut a few days ago. If you have curly hair and have ever felt unsure, frustrated, or disconnected from it..this is the place. Khadija’s knowledge, education, and passion is unmatched. She completely transformed the way I see my hair. I am so excited to begin this curl journey and cannot recommend CGW enough for anyone who’s ready to embrace and fall in love with their natural curls🤍

My whole life my hair has been slightly wavy until my hair fell out and came back curly. I've been navigating my curls with YouTube tutorials,joining curly hair groups and salons that said they had a curly hair expert. Nothing worked. I went yesterday for a consult and a haircut with Soshi and my hair/curls look amazing. I was given advice specific to my hair type and techniques that I so needed. I'm planning on buying my daughter a cut/consult here. I will never go to a different salon again.

Having curly hair has always been a struggle for me because most barbers never get it right. Anamaria is the first stylist who actually knows how to cut curls properly. She shaped my hair perfectly without taking away the volume, and it came out clean and sharp. I finally feel like I found someone who understands my hair. Highly recommend her!

10/10. Khadija was so friendly and knowledgeable! Very clean, zen, and cute salon. My scalp and curls feel amazing. I have been on my curly hair journey for a while, and this is my favorite curly hair salon I have found. So happy to be leaving with new knowledge of how to best care for my curls!
