Zen Head Spa

This place is truly a hidden gem just outside Lewisville (75056)! I tried their head spa services, and they offer a great range of packages from basic to deluxe, so there’s something for everyone. My experience included a thorough scalp analysis, deep cleansing, an incredibly relaxing scalp massage, and even facial treatments. The attention to detail was impressive, and the entire experience felt luxurious and calming from start to finish. My scalp felt refreshed, my hair felt amazing, and I left feeling completely relaxed. If you’re looking for a unique, high-quality head spa experience in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is AMAZING! I was nervous about the location especially when we got here. And I'm so glad I went. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Everyone greeted us with a smile. The head spa treatment and facial was indescribable. I will absolutely be back here. What I'm not sharing is the before and after pictures of my scalp because it may. be disturbing to some viewers.

What to expect: They call shortly after you book to collect a deposit over the phone which is refunded when you show for your appointment and then you pay the full appointment when complete. I wish it was a link on their website and that it was applied to my service- but I’m not in charge. They also send you a survey the morning of that asks a few questions so they can target the facial/ services to your skin type. The decoration and ambiance were great- clean, beautiful, and relaxing. They take you to the blow dry area and do the scalp scan so you can see what’s going on with your scalp Then there is the shampoo room where everyone has partitioned areas. I had expected a private room, but there was no downside to the large room that was partitioned off. It felt very private and the only sound was the relaxing music. You remove the clothing on your top half (I’m sure you could do everything if you wanted) and they have a long cover up for you to wear. I would also remove your bra bc they will massage your neck and shoulders and those areas will also get some water on them. The esthetician will put warming pads on your feet and stomach and cover you in a heavy blanket. It is heavenly and so cozy. My hairdresser also does a scalp cleanse- she does the Moroccan oil scalp refresh which is a scrub with a manual scrub. This is a double shampoo and a manual scrub which felt very nice and is just a different experience. I was aware of this because of the description on the website. I did the Zen Deluxe and so there is some massage as well as a mini facial. My skin looks amazing and is so soft and moisturized. The blow dry is the only part that disappointed me. You can pay extra for them to flat iron which I didn’t really need. I wished it was more of a blow out experience- but having thick hair it was odd that the towel was rubbed together with my hair in it- which is bad for your hair and causes it to frizz. She also tried to brush through my hair but only did the surface- the brush never made it through. I know my hair takes a while, but if she had actually used the brush and done it in sections it would have been way faster. I left with a scalp that feels great but my hair does not feel completely dry or soft. I went home and finished it with a round brush. Overall great experience- I think I will go back but just do my own blow dry at home so it will be ready to go out with. If you have super straight or fine hair their blow dry may be fine for you. I did notice a lady leave when I got there that based on what I saw her hair was frizzy and partially dry too. So, it is not just me.

They really focus on scalp health, which I loved, and the facial was amazing—my skin felt so refreshed afterward. We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and they made it extra special by welcoming us warmly and giving her a beautiful blow dry. Highly recommend for anyone looking for self-care and pampering!

I booked a pampering for two for my moms bday. It was absolutely amazing & probably the most relaxing experience I have ever had. Everyone was very nice and the atmosphere wonderful. We definitely plan on coming back! Would also make a very good gift for anyone, man or woman.

Wow just wow. I've had facials and massages but this place is next level. It's like a combo of a mini facial, an upper body massage and a scalp facial. We got the Zen Delux as a splurge for my moms birthday and boy was it worth it. Wendy and Vy (hope i got the names right) were absolutely amazing and were such pros. From start to finish they pampered us. I would give more than five stars if i could. It may look a little unassuming from the outside but inside is beautiful tranquil and peaceful. The level of relaxation was insane for both of us and my mom left feeling like a new person. Such a great place to pamper yourself and if you are like me and don't do this stuff often because of the price I do feel like the pricing is spot on for everything that you get for this experience and the level of care they take. Don't hesitate if i lived here I would come back often!

What a relaxing way to spend the afternoon! As I told my technician, I felt like a newborn baby after the service 🤣 I felt very pampered and very clean! The treatment room itself was quiet and ambient (even with other people getting their treatments at the same time), there were lots of elements to the treatment, everything was clean, and I was cozy and warm the whole time. Having tea and cookies served while getting my hair dried was such a nice touch. I will definitely be coming back.
