I’ve been going to Scott for a while now, and he consistently gives me the best haircut of my life. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair! He takes his craft seriously and always makes sure my hair looks healthy, bouncy, and full of life. I have naturally curly hair, and Scott cuts it so well that it styles beautifully whether I wear it curly or straight. The salon has such a positive and relaxed atmosphere — you can tell Scott genuinely cares about both his work and his clients. Every visit leaves me feeling confident and looking my best. Absolutely love my cut and blonde highlights! They look so natural and elegant, with just the right touch of sexy, truly the best my hair has ever looked. Scott is an absolute genius when it comes to cutting my hair. I am 37 years old and had always thought my hair stylists were okay, but was really looking for someone who would elevate my hairstyle and cut it in a way that the layers would grow out well. I dove into a search in the DFW area, and came across Scott. Boy am I glad I did; his skills are unprecedented. My hair has never looked better, and he doesn't use a razor or any other "shortcuts" to provide body, volume, or texture. I like Scott so much that even though I moved back to Tennessee, I have him cut my hair in DFW whenever I visit. So grateful to know him and have him as a stylist; I will follow him nationally anywhere he goes, and that is not an exaggeration. To put in perspective, for past haircuts with other stylists, I would start having split ends in just a month or two, but this last style lasted from February of 2025 until 2026 and looked absolutely fantastic until the very end. Well, it’s time to get my hair cut. Which means it is also time for that little drive from Houston to Frisco. This is because the only person I will allow to touch my hair is Scott. Even as my hair grows out, my cut is still flattering and easy to style. My husband also loves how pretty my haircuts are. I love Scott Risk haircuts! Since I’ve started getting my haircut with him I have changed my hair routine and maintenance. Before, I would pull my hair back in ponytails or braids every day because I didn’t have a good system for taming my hair. Scott’s haircuts helped give life and shape to my curls. I’ve been able to experiment with shorter layers and shorter face framing, which has made my hair look healthy and fun. Now, I only wear my hair down because it’s easier and it looks so great!
