I have been going to Chela's for 20 years. I found Chela's one day by going to the show cobblers next door and decided to go to get a haircut while waiting for the cobbler. I was surprised to see what a fantastic job she did. I have hair that is hard to manage and I cannot go to just any barber or hair stylist. Other barbers and hair salon do not know how to cut hair. I can tell a good stylist or barber as my hair grows out. It's like trimming a tree. If you don't trim a tree right the branches grow out this way and that. Chela cut your hair to where your hair is manageable. Chela goes to hair conventions to see updated hair colors and new techniques. Chela has been in the business for over 25 years so she knows hair. She also has a variety of shampoos and conditions you can buy right at her shop. She washes her towels as she has a washing machine and dryer at her shop. Make sure to call ahead to see if she is busy because there are times when has appointments because she does a good job. I usually call ahead to ask if she is busy and when it is best to go in. With Chela you can go wrong and will be pleased with your hair cut.

I’m always nervous to try new people out when it comes to my hair but Chela was great! I came in as a walk in for a basic cut and color and I loved my results and her prices were very reasonable. The environment of her salon is very comfortable and welcoming and she was very sweet. She offered me some hair care tips for my very fine, dry hair as well as selling me a bottle of a leave in conditioner she recommended at a very good price. You can tell she loves to provide good service to all her clientele and it’s obvious her clients love her! I’ve never had a more pleasant experience at a hair salon before. I will definitely keep coming back to her and would recommend her to anyone!

She made my hair look like a broom, didn’t get me what i wanted , made it so short even if i asked not to cut the length.

Chela is the owner an exceptional stylist a professional with over 30 years of experience in color style and cuts she is amazing you can walk out feeling wonderful when she takes care of your hair. There is no one like this beautiful woman with such expertise when it comes to hair. You will love it I have been her client for more than 25 years and I'm still amazed at how good she is and she gets better each year.
