I have been going to Melissa for years and I absolutely love the way she cuts my hair. I like to experiment and get lots of different styles, and she always listens to what I want and it comes out perfectly. She is also amazing with color (and sometimes my hair does weird things with color lol). She is always patient and knowledgable on how to make the color work with my hair. Her environment is calming and private, and I always love catching up with her. I highly recommend her!

Bouncing around with different hairstyles and adjustments throughout the years, Melissa has always been accommodating and flexible in working with me with what I want done with my hair. TLDR: Marty is super friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and skilled! I’ve never felt more comfortable getting my hair done. As for the whole review, Marty is fantastic. I went in for a consultation first and arrived feeling anxious and unsure as I’ve never been here before, and well…. past experiences with new people had always been mediocre. This was different, I walked out of the consultation excited and confident about getting my hair cut here, and immediately booked an appointment. Two days later I got my hair chopped off and it felt so liberating and affirming!! As a non-binary person, it was a high priority of mine to find someone who understood the importance of feeling safe AND heard. This was such a great experience, I highly recommend Marty and La Luna Hair Design!!
