Echelon Salon

Saul is the absolute best. We moved over with him from Hoshall’s to Echelon and he’s been cutting my family’s hair for the past decade. My hair is very straight and many hair stylists don’t manage it well but Saul is the best of the best. I’ve just been getting cuts recently but in the past I’ve had highlights and they were done expertly as well. Can’t recommend enough!

Caveat..I’m super picky! Hai has done an amazing job! Once fixing a horrible cut I had from a first time visit with someone else, then he took my hair to a different level this next cut! Fixed all my color! And gave the most precise cut I’ve had since spending $500 on a cut from a Vidal Sassoon salon in San Diego! A-line bob with color fix….not an easy task and Hai nailed it! Thank you!

This was possibly the worst haircut I’ve ever received in my entire life! the stylist did not listen to what I wanted at all when I said, I like to wear my hair, curly wavy, not straight the stylist, kept trying to talk me into getting my haircut shorter. Even though I said, I was growing my hair out the stylist proceeded to cut my hair into an unmanageable mess that is uneven everywhere, and impossible to style. the stylist, then blow dried my hair straight even though I said, I like to wear it wavy curly I would not recommend a salon at all, and I will never go back

I recently moved to Folsom and desperately needed to find a new hair stylist. After doing some research I found Echelon Salon and was given an appointment for the following week with Shelby. It’s always a bit of a nail biting experience seeing a new stylist. Shelby was very sweet. She listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. The color and highlights are so natural and perfectly complement my skin tone and my cut was absolutely beautiful. 4 weeks later I continue to receive compliments on my color and cut and it is growing out perfectly. I highly recommend Shelby. She takes her time and really listens to what you want.

Shelby is amazing! My hair was in desperate need for a good cut and color. My prior experience with a different salon left my hair with a horrible color job and not the best cut. I went to Shelby and said "help".....is there anything you can do?" She is wonderful.....she gave me a few ideas for a hair cut and suggested a platinum color mix with my gray to give it a classy color. It turned out great! I would recommend Shelby in a heartbeat!

Okay so I searched for weeks for a great salon, we moved from the Bay Area and had only been in Folsom a month. In the Bay Area we had been seeing the same hair dresser for a decade... she did my daughters first cut and everything! I chose Exhelon because of the fantastic reviews... I should have actually read them deeper. The 5 star reviews are mainly for Jade who specializes in curly hair. I got Shelby for my 8 year old baby rapunzel and wow do I regret it! The ends of my daughter hair are not even or blended- all I wanted was a simple trim to clean up the ends and some long layers. I could have gone to super cuts for the same results and 1/4 the price.. I even tipped her $20 because I thought it looked great until I got her home and held her still to brush her hair out.. terrible! Man I’m so upset! I wish there was a way to post the after pictures..

Shelby has become my life long hair stylist!!!! ....... I’ve never had a hair stylist that I call "my hair stylist" but I found that at echelon with Shelby. She cares about my hair as much as I do and has been working hard to get my hair healthy again! After years of box color my hair was in bad shape, but has improved so much with only a few visits to Shelby. I just love the work she has done and the confidence I have gained since having her at my hair stylist!
