A New You Salon

I saw Jolie and she did a great job. She was very nice and did my hair for my engagement party as well as helped teach me to do my own hair for my out of state wedding. I have another appointment for bayalage before my wedding which I know is risky to do right before my big day, but I trust she will make sure it looks great.

I have had my hair cut by these wonderful lady's for to many years to say. I 1st started going there when they had a salon in Folsom Hill area. They r very good @ what they do! The atmosphere is very comfortable & they will make you laugh too. Gone to others fancy place, never satisfied & alway go back to the great gals @ Anew You Salon.

Cheryl is the absolute worst.. She fryed my lovely cùrls. Don't ever go to get your hair done with her. She told me come back. Why so she can't fry it. Cheryl is the most untalented thing. Warning!!!

Julie did a fantastic job as always her attention to detail is spot on. Highly recommend her for highlights.

So I bought my Mom a Groupon to get her hair done as birthday gift(I live in another state) with Jolie. I was extremely careful to read the Groupon reviews from other customers and although it was a little more than another place, based on the reviews I felt confident that my mom would be taken care of. Well the other day I get a call from my Mom and she was really upset. Said she had trouble getting ahold of Jolie and no returned phone calls. Finally my mom got her on the line and made an appointment for 10am. When she got there she had to wait 20min past the 10am appointment time. When Jolie finally showed up, this other lady walked in with my mom (the lady came closer to when Jolie showed up definitely after my mom) and didn't have an appointment. Jolie started to take the lady back and do her hair. My Mom politely asked her why she was going at my mom's appointment time when my mom had been waiting since 10am when her actual appointment was. Jolie was very snobby with my mom and was like "well I can't take both of you so you'll need to reschedule" and continued to walk back to the lady.I am so so embarrassed that I bought my mom such a horrible choice of a gift when I thought I was getting the best for her. And am beyond furious with how awful my poor mom was treated. To top it all off, my mom is a preschool teacher who rarely gets time to do something relaxing and pampering for herself. I decided to share because I don't want someone else getting treated like my mom was.

I absolutely love this salon! I've been going here for a few years now to obtain services from both Tonda and Dakotah! Tonda always does amazing color and cuts! She really cares about my hair and it's quality. She uses top end products and provides exceptional customer service for her clients. I love love Dakotah for my other beauty needs; waxing, (facial as well as body) she's a truly talented make up artist who is very skilled and is able to provide all kinds styles and tones. Her facials are and oxygen masks need to be a part of your life! Dakotah also provides amazing skin care products which I have incorporated into my practice for some time now. Most of all I love that these two women are always learning and growing with the styles and changes in their industry. BTW; These two are also a wedding dream team!

Shelly and Liz are always the brst! Have used them to cut my hair for 15 years in 2 locations. Super friendly and always make you feel at home.
