Amy is amazing at what she does! She brought my dream hairstyle to life when I've struggled for so long to achieve it! I got a volume perm and a wolfcut with many layers. I showed her inspiration pics and she understood the assignment. The staff that washed my hair and helped in the perming process were very gentle and attentive. One of them found my earring that I didn't even realize fell off! The hair salon is very clean, bright, and open. It's a great size and you're offered water or juice the moment you step in! I don't speak Korean and was worried about potential miscommunication since I'm also bad with words.. But there was none! Everything came out perfectly. I'm obsessed with my hair now and from now on I'll make the journey out to Amy to get my hair done every time!!! I trusted Amy, her process, and now I have the best haircut of my life 😭

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Amy for over eight years, and she is truly amazing. The new Thank You Salon location is beautiful, comfortable, and very welcoming. The service is always excellent, and Amy consistently does an incredible job. What I appreciate the most is that Amy’s haircuts don’t just look good on the day of the appointment – they continue to look great after every wash and when I style it myself at home. That’s why I’ve been recommending this salon for years. Highly recommend!

I’ve tried many hair salons over the years while living in Seoul, Toronto, and now New York, and this place truly stands out. I’ve worked with both Amy (the owner) and Sam (a male hairdresser from Hong Kong), and my son has as well. They are both incredibly skilled, professional, and friendly. The two Spanish ladies who assist, Maritza and Teresa, are also wonderful, so warm and welcoming, and they wash hair very thoroughly and cleanly. I genuinely love coming here and happily recommend!

I had a great experience here and it is literally the best hair salon I have been to! I came here for hair coloring, treatment, and cut. Like always, Amy did an amazing job with my hair:) I really like the clean and nice atmosphere too. Will definitely come back next time❤️

This is the honest review of my experience at ThankYou hair salon. They have two hair dressers, the Korean lady and a Chinese guy. I think Korean lady is responsible for men hair and the Chinese guy is to women. The guy did my hair and this is my feedback after two months of getting a haircut there. I found this hair salon through TikTok and I showed the picture of the girl in that TikTok video since that was the hairstyle that I wanted. The guy knows no English which is understandable. And he seems to be a professional hairstylist. He did great on that day only. He did a good job at blow out my hair and styling. I was satisfied. The next day when you wake up, the blowout hair or the hair he did was completely ruined.And I started noticing the hair-style was moved and messy.After a few days, I washed my hair and it was completely ruined like my hair was completely separated two parts-not layered. The back hair was way too long and the upper side was way too short. My hair is on the thick side but he trimmed it too much that created two sides of my head which makes my head bigger. Since then I had a nightmare everyday every time I look at my hair in the mirrorWhat I can do about it? Nothing. I am just waiting to grow my hair again and feel sad every time I look at my hair. Please this is the reminder or a warning to all the girlies thinking to get a haircut at ThankYou hair salon.Please reconsider. This comes from my heart.

The best hair salon in Queens. I don’t really trust a lot of hair stylists for hair cuts but, Amy is by far the best hair stylist. She was so attentive and caring. If you show her the reference pictures, she will give you exactly what you ask for. I asked for a lot of layers and curtain bangs and she slayed. I will be back for sure. They also have really nice staffs.

I love the place, very clean the owner is very professional and cares for you. They offered coffee, water, cakes. She saw that the toner didn’t go with my complexion and she didn’t let me go home like that. She fixed it and put on a different toner which fixed everything and complemented the highlight. Very knowledgeable. People appreciate that. I’ve been to other hair salons and they just don’t care. So I 100% recommend this place.
