I recently got a perm, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The curls came out soft, bouncy, and full of life — exactly the look I was hoping for. What I love most is how effortless my hair feels now; it holds shape beautifully without needing a lot of styling. The process itself was comfortable, and my stylist Miss Hee made sure my hair stayed healthy and hydrated throughout.

This review is mainly to address our experience with the owner and is not reflective of the stylists who work there. My usual stylist is Joy, who is great, kind, professional, and does an amazing job. My wife and I really appreciate her work (5 stars). That said, the salon definitely overbooked. We were asked to move around during our procedures to make room for other customers, and several people were left waiting. The stylists kept having to apologize, which didn’t feel fair to them or to the clients. It made the whole experience feel rushed and disorganized. To make things worse, the owner was rude to my wife every time we visited, even though there was no reason for her to interact with my wife. I’ve also had my hair done by the owner, and based on my experience, I would strongly suggest avoiding her. The cut felt very rushed and uneven. It’s unfortunate because Joy’s work was great, but the experience with the owner left a bad impression.

After trying several NYC Korean salons, Si Seung Hee is my go-to. The owner is super sweet, incredibly methodical, and gives you her full, undivided attention throughout the entire process. She doesn't rush and takes an intentional approach to both the cut and styling to make sure everything is precise and tailored. What’s special is how she walks me through how to style my hair at home and gave me tips to maintain the look myself. It’s rare to find a stylist who combines high skill with genuine care. Highly recommended!

My husband has been coming here for haircuts and perms so I decided to try it too. I had a general idea of what I wanted but couldn’t really explain it well. Somehow Nayeong read my mind and gave me exactly what I wanted, and even better than I imagined. I have very straight hair that never wants to hold any shape but Nayeong absolutely nailed both the perm and the haircut. Even three months later, my hair still has volume and looks amazing whether I follow the curly method or do nothing at all and just let it air-dry. This is officially my new favorite place to get my hair done

I live in San Diego, California. There's a salon I frequent whenever I'm on business trips to New York. It's this one. I'm always impressed by the owner and staff, who create clean, stylish styles and are incredibly friendly. If you happen to be in New York and need a haircut, stop by here. You won't regret it.

Joy Kim, the hairstylist, did my teenage daughter's hair, and she absolutely loved it! 😍 You know how picky teenagers can be, hahaha🤣🤣🤣! My daughter got a cut and bleach, and I was worried about her hair getting damaged, but luckily, there was no need to worry. The staff was friendly, and they kept the appointment time perfectly.👍 I’ll be going to get my hair done soon too.😁

My haircut and dyeing experience at this salon was amazing and smooth! I got ash brown, and they explained the steps and what would look best with my hair and haircut! So glad and grateful that they took such good care of me! I would def recommend to anyone who needs hair coloring and haircut!
