Went here on a whim as I spontaneously wanted a haircut and my mom recommended the salon. Called first thing in the morning and got an appt for the next hour with Orlando. From the second I walked in the front desk ladies were professional and kind and so welcoming. Orlando did an AMAZING haircut and blowout. I cannot recall the last time I showed a stylist a picture and they matched it to a T and he did exactly that. He made me feel very comfortable and confirmed with me while cutting my hair whether I was liking it or whether it needed adjusting. Overall a 10/10 experience, definitely recommend. Brang my daughter here for her first time, Her first time coloring her hair, and it came out amazing, I love it so much,The stylist Lauren did an amazing job, they are all really nice. We had an amazing experience there.

I can’t recommend this place enough. It took me YEARS to find a good salon where you feel amazing as soon as you step in the salon. My colorists Issak and Jody are magicians literally. I was always afraid to go light on my naturally dark hair but they made my hair look absolutely amazing. I also will never ever let anyone besides Lorena to cut my hair! She is so talented. Each appointment is catered and customized to you which to me is so important. I am constantly getting compliments on my hair at work and I never get tired shouting this place out. They deserve all the business!! Thank you so much Riva Salon and Issak!

Everyone at the salon was very friendly, and my colorist Karin was so sweet and attentive. She really took her time and tried her best to give me the look I wanted. Unfortunately, after washing my hair at home, the results didn’t turn out quite as I expected. I came in with blonde highlights hoping to brighten and blend my roots, but my hair ended up much darker overall. It was hard to tell at the salon since my hair was wet and freshly styled. I also asked for soft layers, but once my hair dried, the cut felt a bit uneven. While I truly appreciated the kindness and effort from the team, the final result just wasn’t what I had envisioned. I may need to have the color and cut adjusted elsewhere, but I do want to recognize how thoughtful and professional everyone was during my visit.

Such a fantastic experience ! The staff were all so friendly and the salon is gorgeous and clean. My hair looks flawless, and I feel totally refreshed. I've found my new go-to spot 💇‍♀️ 5 Stars 🌟 Love my new cut and color 🙂 Isaak is a true artist and RIVA salon has a wonderful, relaxed vibe. I always leave feeling amazing. I highly recommend Jose. He listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me a great haircut and blow dry. So happy with the results 10/10 👍

Best salon in queens hands down! I get my color done by Karin and she knocks it out of the park every time 🙂 Ive seen almost everyone for a cut and blow and have never been disappointed. An amazing salon with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere shout out to the owner isaak he is truly so kind and treats every client like family!

I visited Riva Salon based on an AI search for excellent cut and styling for curly hair at a salon in Queens. AI did not steer me wrong! I had spent up to 2.5 hrs traveling to a salon in Brooklyn for several years, and while I loved my stylist I really wanted to find something comparable closer to my apt. Not only did Lorena give me a great cut, but she was efficient, fast, and overall a delightful stylist to work with. I'm so grateful to find a new salon home within a 30 mins commute!
