Good guy, both husband and wife of a nice people. You just need a little more professionalism in cutting. But overall very satisfactory work. Charges are eighty simple I like it.

Only barber who gave me results I was happy with ever! They're extra cautious and mindful of hygiene. Jay did a great job transforming my very long, thick, frizzy, straight-ish hair into a light, airy, layered style. I spent about one hour there. I checked them out because of the great reviews and I was so satisfied I decided to leave a review too, which I nearly never do. Jay's skill was very evident in how he worked on my hair; it was the first time I was impressed by a barber's skills. Jay's wife was very nice as well and gave me a thorough wash before my cut. Only salon I've recommended so far!

My son who is 5 years old hair cut always came out fantastic and stylish! I like the way they handle the equipments clean and organized. Also the place is so clean and good atmosphere. The hair stylist has done wonderful job on my son’s hair. I believe he is the expert hair designer in Flushing, Queens. My son and I satisfied with their services. The family owned hair shop is very professional and clean! Not only professionalism, but also they are so warm and nice people and services are superb! You have to make an appointment because they are extra be careful with contact precaution during covid outbreak. They make sure the place is not overwhelming with full of people. They practice safely by following the protocols. I strongly recommend this place if you want safe and quality services.

My husband and I live far in Long Island, but we always drive an hour to Flushing to get a 10 min haircut. He found his stylist for life. He is very knowledgeable and skilled and understands your requested hair style. Pay him a visit. Perhaps he'll become your stylist for life!

Had a great experience at JK Hair. Jay has a lot of skill and was able to get the job done with minimal chit chat. Very good scissor skills. I was impressed by his technique. I'll be coming here for my cuts from now on.

Went there for a haircut based off the positive reviews. Showed the stylist some pictures to give him an idea and also gave him leeway to style my hair to make it look its best. He set to work, and quickly finished cutting my hair. It looked nothing like the pictures I showed him. And also did not look that good. I’ve tried living with the haircut for weeks to see if it will grow out better, but it’s still very choppy. I’ve gotten layered cuts before at other salons that looked decent but this time, it was not done well.

Extremely talented, Jay is undoubtedly best stylist I came across so far. You can either explain, show the picture or simply trust his instinct. Cute, warm and inviting location near Cross Island Parkway. Most importantly he is a nice guy to be around, kind, charismatic and passionate about his craft.
