Visiting NYC this week and needed a haircut so took a chance going to a new stylist. Walked in without an appointment & very happy with the results! 🥰 Aaron was super professional and checked in whether length was good. There were no issues communicating in English what I wanted. Lady who washed my hair was also amazing and felt like I got an awesome head and neck massage! Very clean, bright and spacious and offered you complimentary tea. Highly recommend and would definitely come back on my next visit to NY! 👏👏

Got my hair done by Kevin last weekend and wow, my hair has truly gotten some new life! I dye my hair pretty often so it’s very dry and damaged, as well as being thick in general. I wanted to keep my length for the most part as I’ve been growing out my hair, while getting new layers to help handle the thickness from the regrowth. Kevin understood where I was coming from and was very detail oriented as he worked. He truly did some magic and gave me everything I asked for. My hair feels so light, and the layers are properly balanced from my scalp to my ends. Would go back! I did communicate with him in (broken) Mandarin and also brought some reference photos of both his work and work done by others on the web, which I highly encourage people to do since he doesn’t really speak English.

Walked in on a Saturday 1PM for a haircut, no appointment. My sister recommended them to me and said they do accept walk-ins. They seated me and said someone will come out and assist me. 5-10 minutes later, another walk-in couple comes in and they both get serviced instantly. I waited another 5 minutes but still no one came to me so I just left. Salon was dead as well so that was an extra slap to the face.

I have spent so long looking for a stylist who truly understands how to cut short hair. In a world full of flashy colors and chemical treatments, it is so refreshing to find someone like Kevin whose talent shines through in a pure, high-quality haircut. He focuses on shape and structure, giving me a style that looks incredible on its own and is super low-maintenance! Kevin is such a gem! He is incredibly patient, actually listens, and completely nailed the reference photo I showed him (tailoring it perfectly to my current length). He even took the time to teach me how to style it at home. If you want a simple, elegant cut with no fuss, I cannot recommend him enough!

I got my haircut from Kevin, would recommend him! I couldn't be happier with my result. We communicated in Mandarin -- the collage is the photos I showed him from xiaohongshu for reference. He adjusted the cut for my specific hair type (less layers so as to not thin out my already-thin hair) he took his time confirming the length of the hair, and also the face-framing pieces, and constantly checked the mirror for how the "bigger" picture looked as he was cutting details. He was meticulous and clearly has experience with Asian hair. Also, the hair washing before the cut was very relaxing. I feel so cute, pretty, and cool, at the same time! 💅

One month after my cut and color with Aaron I am still loving it! I never know what I want to do with my hair, ask for recommendation and leave the salon not 100% convinced that I like the style. Aaron worked with me to figure out what I waned, and made suggestions on cut and color so he can work with my already color damaged hair. The cut ended up being a little shorter than I wanted, but it ended up being my favorite cut and it's so easy to maintain, and within 1-2 weeks of the cut it ended up being exactly like the picture I brought to Aaron. I highly recommend him!

Ryan did an amazing job for my hair! He really took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure everything turned out exactly how I asked. I appreciated his attention to detail and how comfortable he made the whole experience. Highly recommend! 🤗
