First Clips

Sunny greeted me with a bright smile and did an amazing job on my haircut! She’s very skillful and friendly. My friend recommended this salon, and I’m so glad I came, great experience overall. The price is excellent for the quality, and I’ll definitely bring my kids next time!

My 13yo wanted a big change, more than 6 inches off and her first color, green on tips and underneath. She had been here once in July or August before school started and was happy with the cut then, so we went Saturday for the cut and color. Sunny remembered her and asked her how school had started. Looked at her inspiration photos and told her a little that the dye would be a deep blue to get the green color she wants. She asked about the lengths for bangs and overall before cutting. She got her started in foils and did a father and son (around 3 or 4), obviously repeat customers. She's great with the littles from what I observed. Once done with those quick cuts it was time to rinse and color. And another happy return customer during the color. Then she rinsed and perfected the bangs and styled. My teen is still happy after washing at home and showing friends the new look. Thank you Sunny!

My husband has been getting really great cuts for the last few months from Sunny? (the owner, I believe) So I decided to go in and show her what I wanted and we scheduled for cut and color and highlights for the next day. My hair is naturally red, but has dulled and my last color was definitely too dark and not natural looking at all. Reds are challenging both to achieve and the natural red hair doesn’t always take color well. She did a wonderful job!! I became even more pleased with the cut and color after I washed and styled, which I often am less pleased. 😝 She was also so friendly and pleasant to be around. Prices for color/highlights are never "inexpensive" but her prices are definitely reasonable. I will be returning! Thank you!😊

Her styling was so perfect. She cut my hair to my needs and I am very satisfied. My husband also got a haircut from her and it was very neat. She made me feel very comfortable while I was getting my haircut. I will visit here again.

We took our two girls (7 & 9) here for a little trim just before the school year started this past weekend. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a few recommendations. The girls initially had an idea on the look they were going for but went with the stylist suggestions. They paid such attention to detail when cutting and styling their hair. They kept our girls engaged during the whole process which most parents know can be difficult, especially when getting a haircut. In the end, our girls were glowing! They loved the look and cannot wait to start the school year. We’ve been to other salons in Flower Mound, but none of them ever treated our little girls like VIPs. This is our new spot anytime our kids need a haircut! Definitely recommend First Clips!
