I recently move to Indiana from south Florida and needed to find a new salon. I live in Darmstadt so I was hoping to find a nice place near my new home. I Googled salons in the area and I am so happy that B. Lanae Salon came up. I drove over one day to see the place and feel the vibe. Everyone was super friendly and they made an appointment for me. I went to see Emily for grey-blending and a trim. She was very patient with me as I described what I wanted and I left feeling absolutely amazing! From the very first day I met Brittany, the owner of B Lanae Salon, I knew this place was special. Several years ago, she and a few of her stylists graciously volunteered their time to give free haircuts at our Borrowed Hearts back-to-school event. That’s also when we met Mrs. Mariana Ritchison and she has been nothing short of a blessing ever since. As a mom, I reached a point where I was completely stuck on how to properly care for my daughter’s hair. Mrs. Mariana stepped in with so much patience, knowledge, and kindness. She didn’t just style her hair, no she taught me how to care for it, too. For the past 3.5 years, we’ve gone every single month, and my daughter’s hair has never been healthier or more beautiful. We spend about 2.5 to 3.5 hours in the salon each visit for braids, and the atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and full of genuine passion. Every stylist, and staff we’ve met has been phenomenal. You can feel how much they love what they do simply by the way they care for each client who walks through their doors. I am so grateful for B Lanae Salon! Not only for their skill, and the way they’ve poured into my daughter with confidence and care, but their heart for their community! If you’re looking for a salon that truly treats you like family, look no further!

I highly reccomend Mariana Ritchison for curly or wavy haircuts! I was nervous to try a new curly stylist after recently relocating to the area, but Mariana instantly put me at ease, listened, and knew exactly how to handle my thick and curly hair. I am very happy with the services I received!

Mariana has been my stylist for a few years now and she’s amazing! She always has great recommendations and is such a great resource for learning about healthy hair care. I’m pretty low maintenance, and she totally gets that—she meets me where I’m at and makes it easy. My favorite thing she does for me is color, she nails it every single time. I always leave loving my hair!
