Jazzmine created a powerful and lovingly intentional experience of a haircut for me. Not only did she give me a cute cut with face-framing layers, but she also helped me move through some heavy energy and prepare for something truly monumental within my family. After some intention-setting at the beginning of the experience, she guided me through some breath-work & tapping to help calm my nervous system. The scalp rub with a jade comb after shampooing felt amaaaazing. Lastly, Jazzmine had me pick a card from her tarot deck and gave it to me to keep. She swept up my hair off of the floor and put it in a box with some herbs & flowers. I buried the hair outside of my home to honor what I needed to shed & to "plant seeds" for the new. From the salon to the soil, Jazzmine created such a memorable experience. So grateful for her!

I initially filled out the salon’s online inquiry form and was advised that Morgan or Yasmin would be a good fit. I was directed to review their bios, specialties, hourly rates, and Instagram portfolios before booking a required consultation. After doing that research, I scheduled a "New Client Color Consultation" as instructed. At booking, I was required to place a credit card on file. The appointment continued to show as "pending" in the system up until and even after the scheduled start time. I did not receive proactive confirmation or clarification from the salon throughout the day and was unable to reach anyone directly by phone. When I attempted to message through the booking app to clarify the status, I received an automated text stating that I had "confirmed" the appointment. However, there was still no direct communication confirming whether the stylist had accepted it. The process involved multiple platforms — the website, booking system, app messaging, automated texts, and email — without a clear point of contact. In advance, I had shared that I would need to complete the consultation virtually due to mobility and accessibility limitations. After the scheduled time passed, I was contacted and made myself available for a same-day and immediate FaceTime consultation. Despite advertising specialties in red hair and balayage (the two main things I was seeking assistance in maintaining), I was informed the stylist did not feel comfortable moving forward and I was referred to a stylist at a different salon entirely. I respect a stylist choosing not to take on a client if it is not the right fit. However, the lack of clear communication, mixed messaging around confirmation, and the amount of coordination required ultimately led nowhere. For clients managing accessibility or ADA-related considerations who rely on clear confirmation and meaningful accommodation, this booking process may be difficult to navigate. I’m sharing this so others can understand how the consultation and communication process unfolded and plan accordingly.

This is my favorite place! Chelsea is so knowledgeable and does excellent work every time. She listens to her guests and gives great recommendations - and not just for your hair. I truly enjoy catching up with her, Chelsea is a wonderful human and hair care professional 10/10 points, 5 stars, A++

Morgan did a custom burgundy hair color for me with an all over highlight and I was absolutely obsessed with the end result! She is so kind and sweet and communicates throughout the whole process to make sure you get exactly what you want. I gave Morgan some ideas of what I wanted but also gave her creative expression to do what she thought would look the best and it definitely was worth it! Morgan goes above and beyond for her clientele and wants people walking out feeling refreshed and loving the outcome! I would definitely recommend Morgan and I will definitely be going back. I had an amazing hair appointment at The Collective Salon a couple weeks ago with Yasmin. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She truly made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted, and the result is magical I absolutely love my hair. I would 100% recommend Yasmin to anyone looking for a talented and caring stylist!

Absolutely love!!! I went to the collective for the first time and had the pleasure of meeting Morgan. She listened to all my drama and made me beautiful again. I felt so comfortable with her and I appreciated how she asked how I was liking the cut as she was doing it so we could make slight adjustments. I’m not a girly girl so I didn't even know what I really wanted. But I have had so many compliments on my haircut since I’ve seen her. Highly recommend!

Yasmin was my hair stylist and she was amazing! Talked through the whole process and gave me exactly what i envisioned! The space is so cute & cozy, can’t wait to keep coming back!
