Hair Indigo

This review of Hair Indigo - and Kyra - is way overdue. I literally stumbled upon this amazing little shop last December, when I was on the hunt for a new stylist. I can't recall exactly what criteria drew me to try this place initially, but I'm SO glad I discovered it! Kyra is AMAZING - she's incredibly personable and very skilled at what she does (I get women's pixie cuts on fine straight hair) and Kyra listens really intently, does a thorough intake, and then gets to work. And she hits it out of the ballpark every time. I love my cute hair, she's really reasonable for her level of skill, and we always have an excellent conversation. And the vibe is eclectic, laid-back, comfortable, and dog-friendly - just my jam! Would highly recommend Kyra and Hair Indigo to anyone in need of a good, thoughtful cut. Two thumbs way way up.

I have had several haircuts with Emily, and I highly recommend her! I went from long curls to short short hair, and she helped me figure out what style worked with my dual textured hair and my uncertainty of how to get a pixie faux hawk to work on me! She was fun to talk to, respected my opinions about my hair but wasn't afraid to offer her own. I get lots of compliments on my hair, and once I start growing it out again, I'll go back to Emily to help me control these locks!

Kyra gives me the best haircuts I've ever had in my life. I have somewhat thick and curly hair that is tricky for a lot of stylists, but she nailed it on the first try. She really takes the time to ask questions and get a feel for what you really need, which I really appreciate because I am not familiar with "hair lingo" at all, so I have a hard time describing what I want. I moved out of the area but still travel 4+ hours to get my hair cut by Kyra. She really is the best.

Kyra is absolutely lovely and her salon is comfortable and welcoming. Alongside her amazing attention and care for you as a person, she is a very skilled stylist. I love my new haircut and paid an incredibly reasonable price. I can’t recommend her any more highly!

So happy I stumbled upon this place today! Emily was so kind and helpful. She knows curly hair. I just needed a little trim after I gave myself a bad haircut but definitely recommend. Actually affordable and actually a good haircut yayy!

Emily is awesome with color and cut! It’s hard to find someone good with both. She has a lot of experience and a terrific personality! I just moved here and by some miracle lucked out with her. I hate to tell anyone because it will make it hard to get an appointment once the word is out! (Which I’m sure it already is) . My color is just so pretty I’m really happy!
