Lovely locally owned business. I didn't really know what I wanted but that wasn't a problem because Tina helped cut my hair from long to short and used her expertise to make it look great. Highly recommend! 5 stars all the way.

They are excellent to work with and I will be sticking with them going forward. My stylist was also able to help my normally confused self express my desires for my hair. Helpful hair suggestions are appreciated given I really am not knowledgeable on the topic. Side note they help people donate hair to a wigs for kids program. (which sounds like a great nonprofit doing good work).

During COVID I decided it was time to try a new hair stylist AND a new hair color....both were great decisions and I haven't looked back for a second. Tina is an amazing colorist and I rarely go a day without someone commenting on my rainbow hair! (Today, a guy yelled at me across a parking lot, "RAD HAIR!"). In addition, Tina makes me feel super comfortable in her chair and is just an all around great human. The culture/atmosphere in Amethyst is so welcoming and safe and I feel lucky to be a customer of such a great establishment. It's no fluke that Tina is regularly voted top hair stylist in Eugene. Her work speaks for itself and, at least in my case, it yells "RAD HAIR!"

Tina Rex did an amazing job with my daughter's rainbow hair before returning ro school! Very safe environment and clear instructions for the visit. We would happily return to see any stylist at Amethyst Hair Studio!

Samm (WITH 2 M'S) does an absolutely amazing job on my hair every time I come in. Whether that's a full blown color correcting or just a hair cut, I always leave very happy with the results. And she's awesome company. Everyone else in the studio have also always been so nice to me and always make me feel like I'm welcome. I would so recommend coming here for your hair needs, they are all awesome.

Literally the best haircut I've ever had! Kati was amazing at listening to what my hair goals were and gave me a style that looks beautiful when it dries naturally. I love that they were able to bring out my natural waves. The space was super comfortable and I appreciate the steps they take to be COVID conscious. Great experience, great style, highly recommend!

Kati has been my stylist for a few years now & every visit to the salon i leave with the best hair I've ever had. We always do vivids and have covered pretty much every hair cut imaginable over the years and its always executed impeccably! The salon itself is super cozy, cute and all the stylists are friendly and welcoming. I also appreciate their dedication to safety throughout an ongoing global health crisis. I have endless good things to say about Amethyst 10/10 highly recommend ✨️
