Shear & Comb Barber Shop

This has been my go to place for the last few years since moving to Escondido. I am weird about favoring one person over the other and always let the next barber up take me. Big mistake today. I just asked for #3 on the sides and finger length on the top. He spent 40 minutes on my sides and ears. I have a beard and he, without asking, shaved the sideburns and made a huge uneven gap between each side. My grandmother's funeral is tomorrow and I look like an idiot. My wife told me to go to a real barber while I was on my way. I depended on them. In the end, I accepted I was wrong. Last time going there! One last thing..... My barber had his license number and expiration date covered on the posted placard. I noticed this way too late. Not wanting to make a scene, I paid my bill and left enraged...

My barber Haley was very nice. She must have being doing this for a long time because she gave me a good cut. She was also very calm and had a good personality. I’m definitely going there again.

They messed my hair up bad and made me pay full price. It was a simple hair cut only clippers involved. Had terrible service and is dirty. Only came here cause it was cheap but it's not worth the embarrassment and potential infections! Couldn't pay me enough to give you guys a good review!

I just love having my haircut in here. Im relax and comfortable letting them cut my hair. They only accept cash or check though.

Very professional work done here, got a haircut for me and my 4 year old son done in a matter of a few minutes and at a reasonable price. The shop is hygienic and maintained well and accessible. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a professional haircut at a reasonable price. They offer a lot of other haircare and styling services too, but I did only haircut.

Friendly and professional staff who are always happy to help. I have always had a consistent haircut that was what I wanted and done well. Their prices are definitely on the cheaper end for what you're getting and would recommend this place to anybody. One word of warning is, if it's not a common, more generic cut, be prepared to have examples of the cut you want. For me, explaining how I wanted my side part pomp was difficult, but as soon as I showed a picture, I got exactly what was shown.
