Asked for a blonde balayage and was reassured the stylist had strong experience with blondes. I specifically requested the back to be fully worked through (it was quite dark) and asked for a low-maintenance result without a middle split. I left with ginger/honey tones, lost all my natural dimension with a very flat one ginger tone, and an obvious middle split that already looks like I need a touch-up. There was also a large square section in the back that was barely touched, which is very noticeable. I chose not to go back for a correction (which is the third photo). If a basic blonde balayage can’t be done properly, I wouldn’t feel comfortable proceeding further. I would not recommend this salon for blonde or balayage services.

Last year in July, I was scrolling on instagram and found Lizzie’s page. I was looking for a hairstylist who would do soft/cute alternative hairstyles/cuts like back in the 2010’s. Automatically, I knew I wanted to book with Lizzie at Color House. I clicked the url on her page and booked a hair consultation. During the consultation, I was completely honest with any changes, such as cut or color done by myself or other hairstylist have done to my hair. I also provided pictures with what I wanted to get done. One of the things I love about Lizzie is, she’s straightforward and honest about the work she can do which gave me confidence to trust her. Lizzie is wonderful. She is passionate, hardworking, kind, and creative. She truly does her utmost best to give you the hair of your dreams. The first picture is what I wanted to get: Ghost or ombre blonde black hair. The second picture is what I decided to get based on the hair consultation: Calico hair (red, blonde, black) which was my second option and I fell in love.❤︎︎ About two months ago, I took a trip to Mexico and I got many compliments even from other hairdressers. So, I am very happy with my hair and excited for my next appointment with Lizzie. I found this wonderful jewel by searching for a place that knows how to cut short hair. Toby is a breath of fresh air. She did a fabulous job with my hair and has a great fun personality. I'm so happy to have found a place close to me that I can go to. Thanks Toby!

My hair turned out way better than expected. My first time at any salon and it was perfect. Didn't take long for amazing results. Tanner was so nice and educated me on the whole process and also knew how to do my naturally curly hair. Will be coming back!

I went a couple years without Tanner and couldn't bring myself to see anyone else! My hour with Tanner is not only the highlight of my day, but he is just magical with those sheers! The only haircut I want is from him! This salon is super chill and laid back. 10/10 in every way.
