Mia did absolutely amazing!! I love my hair so much its never felt more healthy and beautiful. She was so kind and talented, completely transparent throughout the whole process. She was very helpful with all my questions and gave me many tips to use on my own. I was very scared at first about going short because I had to get a lot of damage taken off, but she was so kind, and with all the styling tips she gave me I have never loved my hair more. Its been a couple days and it still looks and feels just as amazing as it did in the salon !

Mia did an AMAZING job on my silk press and eyebrows! My hair came out so smooth and shiny, and my brows look perfect. She was also incredibly sweet and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I’ll definitely be coming back to her!

I really wanted to like this salon, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I reached out because I wanted a dramatic layered haircut with bangs. Over the phone, I explained that my hair is curly (not textured) and that I needed a stylist who really understands how to cut layers. I thought I communicated everything very clearly. To start with the positives, the salon itself is clean, cute, welcoming, and my appointment was booked quickly. The staff and the stylist I was paired with were kind. However, the actual service was the issue. When I sat down, I told the stylist that I get very anxious at salons because I rarely get what I ask for. I showed her multiple photos and videos of my inspiration, explained the heavy layered look I wanted, and even showed her pictures of previous failed cuts so she would know exactly what not to do. I also let her know that I understood this is a haircut that requires styling in order to give that signature VS bouncy blowout look. She sounded confident and reassured me that she understood, which helped me relax. She washed my hair then started cutting. But as my hair dried, I noticed she never re-wetted it while cutting which is extremely important for curly hair! When it came time to style, I asked for a blowout. The result was nothing like the photos I showed. My hair was frizzy, puffy, and not sleek or voluminous. It didn’t look styled at all. I then asked her to lightly flat iron it to smooth it out (not straighten it), but it still looked bad afterward. I can do a better blowout and flat iron at home. The only part of the haircut I liked was the bangs. The rest of my hair looks choppy, uneven, and poorly blended. My longest layer ended up being the thinnest, and the overall shape isn’t flattering. It just isn’t the cut I asked for or was promised. I still paid around $58 and even tipped because I didn’t want to be rude, but I went straight to the bathroom afterward and cried. I regret not speaking up in the moment, but I did everything I could to communicate what I wanted clearly. Unfortunately, the execution just wasn’t there. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience really let me down, and I wish I hadn’t cut my hair at all. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously.

I had a haircut with Ashlae and I thought she did a great job! I have naturally curly hair but have straightened it for most of my life. The last two yrs I decided to embrace my curls. I’ve never had a stylist cut my hair while it’s been curly and I was very nervous. It was all for not since my hair looks great, I feel great and I’m very happy! Booked my follow up already 😀.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Sasha. She took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and she definitely delivered. I have already booked my next service with her and will continue to book with her. I love my hair! She is also very pleasant and easy to talk to which is a plus as well. Also very nice shop and everyone seems so positive. Really enjoyed my experience and would recommend to anyone wanting the same experience. My service was 80.00 but also purchased a scarf which brought it to 90.00.

Studio828 has fantastic customer service and their vibe in the salon is very welcoming and friendly. I am in love with the aftermath. Everyone there is friendly, they even enjoyed my daughter’s presence. I’ll definitely will come again.
