Sam is absolutely lovely!! I've been sticking to my fairly simple hairstyle for quite a while now, just straight and basic as you can imagine. Wanted to try something new and go a bit bold. From reading some of the reviews and info on her site, she welcomes edgy/bold styles, which was perfect for me as I wanted to try a jellyfish cut 😤😤😤. Despite me feeling like it might not be the most perfect fit for me 😭😭😭 she did an amazing job, I brought some references and explained how I wanted it and she absolutely delivered!! 🤩🤩🤩Not to mention she was pleasant to interact and talk to during the whole process, just a very pleasant and smooth experience overall.

I had a great experience with Sam! I went in to cut off my past-shoulder length hair into my first ever pixie cut! She was so sweet and made sure to ask me lots of questions and cut gradually so I could make adjustments/watch the transformation unfold. She showed me lots of ways to style my new hair and answered all of my questions. We chatted throughout the appointment and Sam is a lovely, interesting human being who made me feel so safe and attended to. About a week out from our appointment and I love my hair more than ever!! Sam saved my shapeless hair and gave me the cut and style I was dreaming of, even though I could barely articulate what I was looking for. She took care to ask questions and make suggestions, and worked expertly with my hair type and head shape. Come here for a truly rad atmosphere, and an absolutely phenomenal cut! Thank you, Sam! <3

I first met Sam as a stylist at a barber shop that was literally across the street from my apartment. I had just moved to the neighborhood and needed a new place to get my haircut. She and I immediately clicked not only because she’s an AMAZING hairstylist, but also because she’s a cool person all around. To elaborate a bit, I’m admittedly extremely high maintenance with my hair. I get it cut every 2 weeks but if I could afford it, I’d go every week. Sam consistently knocks it out of the park with a sick fade and whenever I want to try something new, she always has great recommendations! Even when Sam moved and started Rad Dragon, I knew I had to make the trip out to see her every two weeks instead of conveniently walking across the street to the barber shop. Highly recommend Rad Dragon Salon to everyone.

I LOVE SAM!! She’s been cutting my hair for about 6-7 years & she never disappoints. Through botched cuts &blonde phases she’s always been able to help me & give me exactly what I want & sometimes things I didn’t even know I wanted LOL great vibes & an amazing hair stylist!! 100/10 recommend!! 💙

I just started going to Sam last year and I’ve finally found a stylist that I like. Really love getting my haircut here! I’ve been experimenting with undercut styles lately and Sam’s always up to the task. Such great energy.
