Divine Salon

I've been a customer here for years. I've seen various stylists and had been happy. In January 2024, I went in and was scheduled with Katherine as my prior stylist had left. I showed a picture of what I wanted (it was a picture of my own hair in the past) and asked that my hair be cleaned up and refreshed to look similar. I left with highlights that blended into each other, were not close to my scalp (looked like I already had a month or so of re-growth) and was a shade of blonde that washed me out. It was not what I asked for. In addition, the haircut was drastically shorter than the picture and it ended up being an extreme inverted bob. A week or so later, I went back to ask that the color be fixed (I knew the hair would have to grow on its own). The redo was awkward as I felt as if I was an inconvenience for coming back and the stylist made it known. Fast forward to March, I found a new salon and they advised that not only was my color a mess (even after being presumably corrected) the haircut was uneven. I'm now on a color correction plan and it's estimated I won't get back to what I had for another 6 months or more. Outside of my experience there, I am disappointed there is no managerial oversight for customers that come in for corrections: for newer stylists, I recommend looking at a customers history (I'm not a chronic complainer) and be at the salon and within ear shot to hear the conversations (or lack thereof) between customers and stylists when a correction does occur. There is certainly an opportunity to monitor chair side etiquette and to make sure your customers feel comfortable. I won't be going back to Divine.

Katerina is the absolute best! She took my vision and turned it into a true masterpiece. The color came out absolutely stunning, and her attention to detail is unreal. If you want someone who can bring your ideas to life with incredible skill and creativity, she is the colorist to see!

I have been seeing Ana for about 2 years. She does an amazing job with my curly hair. I brought my 9 year old daughter in for the first time and she said it was a great experience! Her hair is very delicate and had never been cut. It looks great after and the whole experience was lovely. Ana did an amazing job and I can’t recommend her enough!

I noticed that my review from a few years ago disappeared, so I am re-uploading my review. It all started when I scheduled my appointment and explained to the woman on the phone what I wanted, and she said that they would be able to do it. When I showed up to my appointment, I showed the hair stylist my reference photo, after inspecting my hair, she said that we would be able to do it. Once she finished my hair, I looked in the mirror and I was shocked. It looked nothing like my reference photo. I explained to her that I did NOT want highlights, I wanted my hair to look as close to the reference photo as possible. She refused to fix my hair and she said that it would take at LEAST 3-4 more sessions to go fully blonde. I thought this was ridiculous because I had healthy virgin hair and it lifted to a light blonde perfectly. No one told me that I would have to do at least 3-4 sessions when I booked the appointment, and the stylist did not tell me before we started that it would take multiple sessions. If I had known that, I wouldn't have gone to this salon. The session totaled $148 and an unknown charge of $10. If I had followed her advice, and had 4 sessions total, it would've been at least $600. When I emailed the owner of the store, she was extremely rude and dismissed any chance of getting a refund OR getting my hair fixed. On my original review, the salon responded saying that "it was my fault." Not only did I waste my money at this salon, but I had to have my hair fixed by another salon. Not only was I was left with unnecessary hair damage, but I had also spent over $300 at both salons. The second salon charged $70 to fix it, along with a hair treatment for damage. After doing a test strand at the other salon, the stylist said that there was no logical reason to do multiple sessions.

I have been with Divine Salon for several years now and I absolutely adore my stylist Julia! I’ve been a wide variety of shades of red and she always gives me exactly what I’m looking for. I trust her completely! If you are shopping for a new hair dresser/salon, look no further. Everyone is excellent here (:

Ana has been my hairstylist for the past 5 years and she has done such an amazing job on my hair. Every time i get my hair colored by her I am never disappointed. Even though I have moved away from the Eagan area now I still make the drive to see her for all my hair needs. I highly recommend Divine if you are looking for great quality work!

Katerina did such an AMAZING job on my cut and color! She is very knowledgeable and accommodating to your wants and needs. I can’t wait for my next cut and color with her!
