Cult of Mane

I had a very unfortunate experience here. I booked a cut with Jessi. I have been growing out my hair for a few months, so I needed a trim on the ends. I asked for face framing pieces and maybe some long layers. I ended up with very extreme and unblended layers (picture included). The front pieces were fine, but they were also so chunky and short that it just looks messy. I showed her my favorite way to style it half up with a clip, and the top layers are so short it won’t even fit in a ponytail or clip. Mind you my hair was far past my shoulders to begin with. This was extremely upsetting considering the whole point of cutting my hair was to get a nice even length, since it has been so long since I got my last trim. On top of that, I have naturally wavy hair, so layers like this look so messy when I don’t style my hair. I told her I like a low maintenance cut, so I don’t understand why she went with this style. It looked to bad I had to get it fixed the next day, where had to cut another 3-4 inches of hair, so it’ll be another 6-8 months to get back to the length that I came in with. I was so sad because I finally was getting to a length I like, and she just came in and cut it all off. On top of that I think I paid $150 including tip for the service, which is pretty crazy for a normal cut. I came out of that haircut with a mullet, now I have a bob against my will. 💀 I have two stars because Jessi was very nice and the salon is cute, but I will not be returning.

Jessi at Cult of Mane has been my stylist for almost a year now. I have a chin-length bob and like to alternate between wearing it wavy and following the "curly girl" method. Ever since going to Jessi, I am getting so many compliments on my hair!! I love it! I feel like Jessi takes the time to understand what I'm looking for, offers great input, and is just super talented and skilled. Highly recommend!!

Jessi is the best stylist I’ve ever had. For decades I went to salons that highlighted my hair in a way that I’d have to come back every 8 weeks. Jessi’s technique looks better, is much lower maintenance, and looks more natural. She is also the hair goddess for short cuts.

Jessi has been the only one to touch my hair since I moved from Chicago 10 years ago. I’ve followed her to a few salons and love her and this salon! It’s cute inside and she is truly the best at what she does. My husband comes for his haircuts too and she does a similarly fantastic job.

I've been here a few times to see Eden and she has done such a wonderful job lightening my dark hair. Its not only looked amazing but she has made sure the quality of my hair is top of mind. The salon is adorable and very welcoming, absolutely recommend!

Eden is the best!! I get my grays covered every 6 weeks or so and she always matches my natural hair color perfectly. I recently got a haircut from her with lots of layers and got so many compliments. My sister also went to her when she was in town a couple months ago and still raves about it. Highly recommend!
