The vibe is amazing here! I came to see Susannah and had her give me a hair make over! Also brought my kid in for a hair cut. She did a fantastic job with the kid cut and anther stylist helped add some tinsel while I got my hair done. My kid absolutely loved the experience, which isn’t always the case because of tender head. Everyone is super kind and supportive and it’s a very inclusive atmosphere! Susannah worked her magic on my head (like always) and I’ve been getting compliments nonstop about the amazing job she did with my colors! Pricing is where it should be for the time and expertise you’re getting. I didn’t click on the average pricing because my kid’s cut vs my cut/color are two very different categories and I have a LOT of hair. The ship itself is really cute and fun and funky all at once! It’s a breath of fresh air, and not just because of all of the plants. The signs in the bathroom are hilarious!

Ella did an amazing job with my hair! I’ve been loving it more each day! Truly listened to what I wanted and the cut is BEAUTIFUL. Love how the balayage turned out so so natural and effortless looking. Ella was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot throughout my appointment! Also gave me helpful tips for some of my goals 🙂 The salon is so unique, fun, and clean!

I love being in Ella’s chair!! This place is magic!! And she does such amazing work! So kind, professional, and talented! Also worked so well with me traveling in from out of town! She was able to do a remote consultation call and was sooo flexible when it came to scheduling my appointment! Would highly recommend getting dreads here!!

Love this salon! Fun set up with great stylists. Susannah always has done a great job for me and my daughter. She shares opinions and educates so we know how to even better take care of our hair! My hair had really bad split ends and just was flat. She cleaned it up to look great! Thank you!

Chloe was amazing, kind and thoughtful. She was very mindful of things that might upset my child when she was told we were here for a hospital treatment program. She asked me in private if there were any sensitive things she shouldn’t talk about, which I really appreciated. She also worked us in same day and at the end of the day and I really appreciated that as he needed a pick me up.

It was my first time in the chair with Chloe, she was incredible. She gave me the best pixie cut I've had in years! She did a dry cut and I was honestly astounded at her proficiency and attention to detail. Lots of fun to talk to, talented, sweet, what else could you ask for?

Got extreme damage from the method that the stylist highlighted my hair. With very curly hair, if you tease it and take a fine tooth comb to try to comb out the tease while there is bleach in it and it is in a very weakened state, it shreds the hair up. Have spend the last couple years cutting off the extreme damage. I've gotten highlights my whole life and never had anyone do that or this severe of damage, I'm talking individual strands had 5 -10 splits up the entire shaft to the root... Ive never even seen that kind of damage on anyones head before. I had thick, very healthy hair prior to this service. I should have done the highlights myself the way I usually do,but I felt like treating myself, ha! If you have curly or coily hair, I do NOT recommend coming here for color if you want your hair to be treated gently. They treated my hair like it was straight hair, and I paid the price. It looked beautiful when I left the salon, but as soon as I examined my hair after the first wash, WOW. Absolutely DESTROYED. I've been getting my hair professionally highlighted or highlighted my own hair for 25 years, and never ever had even close to this level of damage, breakage. Really heartbreaking. I've just cut 3 or so inches every 3 months since this with a different stylist to try to save my hair and keep the rest of the highlighted hair from breaking off and falling out. Update, response to reply: I appreciate that you want to try to fix the situation, but if my hair is butchered, there is slim chance I want to go back to that same place to touch my hair again. Even if it was for free. You can't reverse this level of damage. It simply needs to be cut off. I left this honest review so others are aware of what their experience could be, if it is similar to mine, and I don't need to discuss that with the business prior. Thanks for the reply, and no thanks to doing anything to my hair again. Also, I had hair that was healthy. I grew my hair out from a cute pixie. no henna, no chemical treatments, I use zero heat, and get regular trims.I deep condition once a week, and have done so with quality products for the past 15 years. I keep my hair in low tension protected styles, and only wear it down once a month or so. So while I understand that you'd like to say that the damage could be because of the condition of my hair, that is not the case. The damage is because of the way your stylist treated my hair, and her lack of understanding that there is a difference between curly and coily hair, and straight or wavy hair and it needs to be treated differently. I've worked hard and spent a lot of money trying to recover from this between frequent cuts and treatments. Thanks.
