Salon 87

Don't walk, run to Salon 87. Amber works miracles on hair, and was able to get me the results I wanted time and time again. From vivids to blondes and all types of haircuts, she is amazing! I have also gotten to witness Erica transforming people while my color is processing. It is such a fun atmosphere.💕

Amber is amazing! She knows my hair better than I do! Her prices are very reasonable for the upscale variety of services she provides. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with actual "down to earth" people. I highly recommend booking online with Amber! 😎

Update: I see the salon posted an update to my review so refer to that to understand my updated review. Under those curls, are where the patchy pictures I posted, lay. And once the freshly done curls relaxed, the shelf in my hair was very, very visible. Im not a "once a year in the salon" gal and am sad to think they view my situation as just not keeping up with my hair. Those pictures were taken the day after, and one week after being in their business. Even with me asking if we should go lighter, the solution provided to me was just tone over the (clearly) still orange hair. I didn't want to bring up being at a new Salon as i wanted to keep my situations separate. But I have found a new salon where my goals were much closer to being met and within 1 appointment. At quite literally, half the cost to do, and maintain. Original: I was so excited to start coming here after having 2 other mishaps with my hair at another salon. I had Erika and she seemed super knowledgeable and like she knew how to get my hair where I wanted it to be. Unfortunately shortly after and looking back, I was rather disappointed. After leaving the salon I realized how uneven my cut was to where you can clearly see a shelf (it dried and styled like that as well), and the color was very far from what I had wanted. I did already have 2 rounds of bleach done when I came to her, and I do understand you don't get blonde from dark hair overnight. However after she was done with 1 bleaching, she suggested we stop and just tone the hair from there on out. Which ultimately didn't give me results I wanted, and just patchy color every time that didn't last long at all. Especially for the price I payed, I had expected a lot, lot more. I am posting this review a little last as this was my experience last summer (2021), but I do think it is worth sharing.

Amber is a hair wizard! She knocks it out of the park every time. She cuts my hair exactly how I like it and makes my hair super shiny and soft. She's also amazing with color. Pinks, purples, greens, anything vivid as well as blonde, brunette, highlights - all of it! I recommend Salon 87 to everyone, especially Amber.

Amber did a phenomenal job getting the exact cut I wanted! Was super friendly and provided a ton of advice on maintaining my hair.

BEST SALON!!! I genuinely left feeling the best I ever have!! Where was this all my life!! Erika did everything I wanted and more!
