I spent over 5 hours at Tangerine Salon and left with damaged hair and wasted time. The only thing I asked for was not to be put with a protégé stylist — and that request was ignored. Kryssa was the stylist who worked on me, and unfortunately the experience was awful. She destroyed my hair, couldn’t even cut it straight across, and repeatedly had to ask the master stylist questions throughout my coloring process. Despite this, Kevin never once came over to check how my hair was processing, how the color was developing, or how the service was going overall. I have pictures of what I asked for versus what I got, and the difference is shocking. I specifically said no orange, yet my hair pulled orange/brassy anyway. Yes, I was refunded, but that doesn’t make up for the time wasted or the damage to my hair, which I now have to fix elsewhere. I’m honestly shocked a salon of this reputation would allow someone with this skill level to work on clients independently. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.

Got an appointment with Shelbi in Dallas, and I am so glad I did! Warm, welcoming and social, but I didn’t feel pressure to talk no did she. She is knowledgeable, actually did what I was asking for, and checked in throughout the process to make sure lengths and such were appropriate. She was quick but throrough and will share what products she uses on you. My hair feels and looks great, and I plan on going back to her! She books up fast so book at least 2 months in advance. Thanks Shelbi, I'm a happy new client.

Maleah was amazing! I took my sister for her first professional hair cut and the outcome was amazing. I will be back with my family we found our forever salon. Anyone thinking of booking should definitely book!

Tangerine Salon Dallas is wonderful. Everyone is professional and kind. Huge shout out to my stylist, Kevin O!!! He is a true artist! Had my hair extensions placed today and I LOVE them!!

I had an amazing experience in this salon. I was looking for someone to fix the mess that the last hairstylist did to my hair (haircut and coloring), and I was blessed with Annie P. She was very careful and knowledgeable. I know that it will take more appointments to fix my hair completely, but she already made me happier and more confident that now I will have the hair that I am looking for. I can't wait until our next appointment!

It is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Everyone at the salon is very nice and professional, and the studio is kept very clean and organized. Kevin did my hair today, I asked for a lot of layers and he got the job done. The scalp massage he gave me when I was being shampooed almost put me to sleep

Had my hair cut and colored by Anyssa and I seriously love how it turned out! She was super easy to talk to and really understood what I was going for. The color looks amazing and the cut is just what I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back to her—highly recommend!
