I’ve been getting my hair cut by Jamie Seemann at La Maison in Dallas for the past few years, and I can now confirm this is not a salon……it’s a covert therapy practice that just happens to include scissors. I come in asking for "the usual," sit down, and within minutes Jamie is calmly fixing my fade while I confess life decisions I absolutely did not plan to discuss. There’s something about the chair. Or the mirror. Or Jamie’s ability to ask one casual question that sends you spiraling…..emotionally, not haircut-wise. The haircut is always perfect. My life? Still a work in progress, but we’re getting there. Jamie has an elite talent for translating nonsense like "I want it clean but effortless" into a haircut that makes people assume I drink enough water and answer emails on time. I leave La Maison looking sharp, emotionally lighter, and mildly suspicious that I’ve just been professionally supported. The salon itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the real value is Jamie’s consistency. Years later, she still remembers my hair, my preferences, and apparently every major plotline of my personality. That level of care is rare. So is a haircut this good. If you want a top-tier men’s haircut, great conversation, and the subtle illusion that you’re thriving, book Jamie Seemann at La Maison. Five stars!!!! Would absolutely return for both the fade and the free emotional maintenance.

I loved everything about La Maison. I made a same-day appointment and was not sure what to expect. I selected Jamie, since she was the owner. My appointment was after work, so end of the day. I walked in to a few kids getting their haircut. It was wonderful and fun. They were having fun and Jamie and the other stylist were at ease and comfortable, so that made me comfortable also. Jamie took the time to understand what I wanted and explained a few things along the way which I appreciated. I am new to the area, and the salon and Jamie made me feel welcomed and appreciated. This will be my ONLY salon that I go to in the Dallas area. Quality was excellent and the price was reasonable. Do yourself a FAVOR and make an appointment at La Maison.

I love La Maison! Everyone is always so friendly, and they are great about asking questions to make sure you leave with exactly what you’re looking for. Not only do they help with current hair care, but they also help you plan for your future hair goals as well! Great stylists, great atmosphere - I definitely recommend them for all your hair needs!

Jamie is amazing, she takes the time to discuss what your hair goals are and develops a plan to achieve it. My blonde is the perfect color and the cut is exactly what I was hoping for, but even better. She is kind and professional, 10/10 recommend!

I have been going to see Jamie since 2020, took a little break but head to come back! She has always been amazing with my hair interests in mind! She listens to what I want but also makes sure its never damaging to my hair. I will continue to always come back as she does such an amazing job!

Great spot for a low-maintenance men’s haircut in central Dallas. It’s in a charming historic cottage with easy parking right out front. Walk-ins welcome, which is super convenient. Jamie (the owner) is awesome—easy to talk to and gives solid advice on men’s products without being pushy. The shampoo/conditioner and scalp massage is a nice bonus and makes it feel luxurious, but the prices are fair. Overall, great value and relaxing vibe. Highly recommend!
