I could not recommend Lauren more highly! She has taken each step of a hair appointment and perfected it. Her intake form is clear, detailed, and easy to complete. Sharing information about my hair and routines ahead of time allowed Lauren to consider my hair’s needs as well as the style I wanted. In the appointment, Lauren took the time to talk through my options, making sure we were on the same page. She books enough time to give each client a thorough consultation, an incredible head spa treatment, and the cut and style of your dreams. She was enthusiastic about teaching me how to use products and tools, and how to enrich my everyday routine. I actually felt like a new person leaving her salon. Lauren is kind, welcoming, and a true artist—everything you want in a hair stylist!

Lauren is one of the best hair stylists you’d ever meet, you can tell how passionate she is about her work and how much she cares about what she does. She listens to every little thing you like and dislike and helps you make your vision come true. HIGHLY recommend.

I found Lauren through a Reddit suggestion, and I’m glad I did. From the start she’s clearly professional and organized, as she has a very thorough list of questions she asks before even meeting you, to understand your hair history and goals. Right off the bat, I felt like I was heard and was being set on the right path. I went in for service and got exactly what I expected, from color to style! Watching how my hair has grow out since my appointment, it’s still kept the shape and style and is still so beautiful as it grows out as well. Not only that, but getting to spend time in Lauren’s chair in and of itself was very therapeutic. She’s an empathetic soul and really makes the entire appointment an Experience with a capital E. I felt like I walked out with a new friend, not just a stylist. I’m getting ready to make my second appointment with her, and can’t wait to see where Lauren takes my hair next. (Wish I had taken some better photos and had my hair down, but hopefully you can see the quality of her color work and skill, regardless)

Lauren is an expert at what she does — cutting and coloring, yes, but also making her clients feel comfortable, seen, and heard. She provides a luxurious, relaxing conditioning experience, complete with a warm towel and a little scalp massage. Just one way she goes above and beyond. I came to her a little anxious about trying color, but now I have purple & red hair and can't imagine myself without color! I love how she cuts my hair, too, and somehow knows exactly what I need when I explain what I'm looking for with what little knowledge about hair I have lol. I'm forever a HairFolkLaur fan ✌️

Lauren offers such a thoughtful and comprehensive experience for new and returning clients. After taking the time to get to know my hair texture and routine, my preferences for being in her chair, and my desired haircut for our sessions, Lauren has given me the best haircuts I have ever had! Lauren’s knowledge has allowed me to leave her studio with haircuts that truly suit me and are better than I could have even intended or vocalized myself. It’s always a pleasure to see her and she is very accommodating to whatever your needs may be when you’re there.

Yet, this is the same person that will get impatient after they feel 10 minutes of their time was wasted? That’s because she went to Hairfolklaur and got her hair done. It’s time you experienced salon quality hair too! I have been going to Lauren for years and I drive over an hour for the luxury spa-like experience. Men, we deserve more than just the 20 minute assembly line hair experience. She has helped me through all my style changes, keeping me both fun and professional for work. Ladies, if you are having trouble finding your man a special gift for that special occasion, because he fricken buys everything for himself first, this is it! Even in 2025 men are still not confident enough to admit they want to invest in better experience for themselves. He won’t see it coming and if you are unsure about the idea, try I for yourself first!

I love getting my hair done by Lauren! The cuts are always exactly what I envision and the experience is seriously like a spa/meditation combo. The scalp care is so relaxing, the conversation flows with ease, and it's all intentional and full of love! Highly recommend.
