I have long and thick hair and I'm meticulous about where I get it cut; the cut never turns out the way I want -- layered and textured. After calling around and reading multiple reviews, I am very happy to have found Kozo. He took his time washing, cutting, and styling my hair. I absolutely LOVE my new haircut and would recommend Kozo's salon to anyone that likes layers, texture, and something different that's also low maintenance. The vibe is relaxing with R&B background music and low lighting. I cannot thank Kozo enough for his beautiful work and I look forward to driving an hour again just to see him. Thank you, Kozo!

I got a haircut from Kozo. Since I have a short hair so it’s all about getting the right cut. And Kozo nailed it! I’m really happy with how it turned out. And many salons have delays even with reservations but Kozo was spot on with the timing and started the haircut exactly when scheduled! I’m definitely coming back!

This review is long due as I have been coming to this salon for the past 7 years. I have so much respect and appreciation for the work they do. My natural hair is curly, frizzy, dry and unmanageable but after getting the hair straightening treatment and a haircut, my hair is now straight, soft and silky which I love! My go to stylist is Kozo he is caring, patient and detailed oriented. Thank you Kozo!

Kozo is the only place I will go to get a hair cut. Not only does Kozo transform my hair into exactly what I envision, but he also shares valuable tips on maintaining my new look. Thinned out my hair WAY too much when I said not to thin it out at all, and just layer the very ends. When he was styling my hair at the end, he would curl it, and then rub his hands all over my hair (?) and undo the curling he just did, and then repeat that process, which I didn't understand. Why curl my hair just to significantly undo it? Don't go here unless you want your hair to turn out REALLY thin.

Good quality, good value, professional, clean and on time. They literally check off all the boxes. I got a Japanese hair straightening perm. Kimmie was so professional and efficient. I had a lot to do that day, yet she managed to get me in and out of there within the time frame we agreed. I don't know how she did it, but she did. I had a real "Princess Diary" moment at Kozo's. My hair was ....well, lets just say I am thankful and I will be coming back again. The place is lovely and so clean. It was a relaxing day even with my busy schedule. Thank you!

Kozo does outstanding work- his attention to detail and meticulous precision when it comes to hair is unmatched! I’ve been going to this salon for almost four years since I moved to Orange County from NYC and am so lucky to live close by. I called this morning with a hair emergency and he fit me in first thing! The prices are very fair- so glad to have found this salon.
