My daughter has been asking to get her done for quite awhile now; I’ve gone to Planet Sol before for just a haircut and they’ve always done great so we decided to schedule a full highlight for her birthday. Grace ended up working with her, she shared that she was new to Planet Sol, and we overall had an awesome experience. We brought along my daughter’s bff and she was super kind to the girls, spent time chatting with them, educated them on the entire process step by step, and was great at addressing any questions/concerns. My daughter is absolutely in love with her hair and Grace achieved exactly what she envisioned, thank you Grace!

I really liked this place. I'm on vacation in Corpus Christi and went in to get my gray hair covered and get a simple cut. I'm the type that gets my hair done once a year and then puts it off forever, because I usually feel meh in salons. These women were down to earth but also really talented. I felt very welcome, and they really took time to figure out the best plan for my super thin hair. I left feeling and looking great!

I’ve been going to Planet Sol for years now seeing CJ for my IBE extensions and rate her and the salon more than 5 stars. She and the staff are always so friendly and professional. Everyone there goes above and beyond and I always look forward to my visits! If you’re looking to get extensions, you have to come here and book with CJ - she’s so fun and always up to date with the latest techniques. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I came to this place expecting to get my hair colored a copper brown and it did not meet expectations. A family member spent $200 on a gift card to this place in which they had told her they could color my textured hair. In the end I ended up getting charged over $300 for the service. These are the pictures I provided to the stylist in which she said she could achieve this exact color on my hair without bleach. The first picture is the before and the second picture is 2 weeks after getting the service. I tried to give it some time and I really didn’t want to write a review but I am extremely disappointed and I do not feel I should have paid this kind of money for what looks like a very dark brown and not what I asked for. I’m going to spare mentioning the stylist who did my hair because she was nice but didn’t know what she was doing at all. I wish she would have been honest that she didn’t know how to color my hair and I would have took my money and my family’s money elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend anyone who has my hair texture to this salon.

I’ve been here before and always have had an amazing experience! I usually book with Erika but couldn’t this time. I booked 3 services two haircuts and 1 Brazilian blowout . The haircuts were scheduled with Kaitlyn and the blowout with Emily. The appointments were for my two daughters. One was just getting a cut and my 12 year old was getting the blowout and haircut. When my daughter sat in Emily’s chair she picked up my daughter’s ends and said" you want a cut?" I assumed that she had to do a cut before the blowout so I said yes. Later I realized that that meant that it would cancel the haircut with Kaitlyn. So I asked for the cut to be done on me. When we left I asked my daughter what Emily had told her to do to maintain her blowout she said that she didn’t talk to her at all and overheard her saying that she was mad because she didn’t know she had to do a haircut too. So in summary, Kaitlyn was absolutely wonderful , sweet and friendly and did a great cut and style on my 11 year old and myself. On the other hand Emily came off as very rude and unfriendly and made my 12 year old uncomfortable. I will continue to go here but will make sure to never book with Emily again.Now I have to google how to maintain a Brazilian blowout since we were provided no education on it.

Hairstylists and staff are very friendly. Hairstylists listened intently and hair came out great. The only reason I am removing two stars is because I had set an appointment at 10am, then had to wait two hours not because it was busy but because the hairstylist accepted a close friend's last minute appointment at the same time even though I had scheduled mine a week ahead. My time is valuable to me and I'd rather not deal with unpredictable situations like this.

I had an amazing experience at Planet Sol Hair Salon with Joanna! I’ve been going to Joanna for 3 years now and every time she does my hair I fall in love with it! She’s incredibly talented, attentive, and truly listens to what you want. She makes sure every detail is perfect and gives me great tips on how to maintain my hair at home. The atmosphere in the salon is welcoming and relaxing, and Joanna’s friendly personality makes the whole appointment so enjoyable. 😊 I always walk out feeling confident and loving my hair Highly recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful results and great service! 💖
