I got a highlight and haircut from Sydney, and she did a wonderful job. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and she listened to what I wanted. My highlights blend beautifully and the cut turned out really pretty. I’m very happy with the results and definitely recommend her!

Syd cut my hair-or should I say butchered my hair. The hair cut, color and length in the pictures I showed before looked NOTHING like this. I cried hard when I saw it in her mirror. My 1st grader would have done way better. She asked if I want face framing but instead gave horrible bangs!! She thinks face framing means full on thick bangs! The color is dark/ugly. She was rough too, she did foils by pressing foil over my eye and it hurt (instead of putting her hand under she pressed against face directly). She also got a ton of brown hair dye in my right ear-I was up all night in excoriating pain. If anything happens to my ear she’ll be hearing from a lawyer-not me. I’m in process of figuring out how to report her-she should not be doing hair to be honest. It’s dangerous in my opinion and you come out looking like this.

Went in to get a trim no more than 2 inches off she ended up taking 4 inches off my hair. I wanted a straight cut no layers at all Syd did not shampoo my hair just combed my curly hair as soon as I arrived and continued to cut it. Then she took me to the shampoo bowl and shampoo letting me know that after that she would check that the cut would be fixed. Gave me the worst blow-dry left me with frizzy hair and started cutting more I had to stop her and ask her to flat-iron the hair before she talked any length of my hair. She argues with me that she loves to get her hair cut when is curly. I had to stop her altogether and get out of her seat before she cut any more length. I'm very upset that Syd did not listen to my needs us lazy and didn't take her work seriously. Now she did not let me pay for the service. I hope Syd takes more cutting classes or works as an assistant she has a long way to go before she gets on the floor.

I am so happy with my choice of Island Breeze house of hair. I booked an appointment with Sydney to get a perm for my long hair. She was amazing and worked faster than I could believe. Oh my goodness! I can not recommend this place enough. Sydney did such a wonderful job on my daughter and me! She took her time, listened to what we wanted and did a fantastic job! We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful job and getting us in quickly.

My first experience with a hair salon- Michelle was so great and very accommodating. I have a history with box dye and she was able to still give me what I wanted, the color and cut both exceeded my expectations. My mother booked with her as well and she’s a hijabi- very refreshing to find a stylist willing to accommodate to her privacy. I highly recommend, I left very satisfied.

I have been a loyal client at Michelle’s salon for over a decade. I have always had a wonderful experience. Recently the salon started using the Vagaro app to book appointments and I LOVE it (you can still call and do it the old fashioned way too). If I don’t see the time/day I hoped to go in available for an appointment on the app, I just send a request through the app or call, Michelle always works with me! My hair looks great every time!
