Hair Cuttery

I love Ms. Anette! She is the BEST! I’ve been going to her for years and she makes sure I come out looking like a million bucks. She did my hair for my birthday, and boy, she does not disappoint! I got so many compliments on the way she styled my hair. I go to Hair Cuttery because of her. Will be a repeat customer for life!

Luz not only gave me a perfect haircut but she also helped me have an amazing day. I was on my way to the shop to get my haircut and somebody almost hit my car and causing an accident. I was having a mini panic attack but Luz was able to make me smile and change my mood ultimately helping me have a wonderful morning. The hair looks great to me and I highly recommend using her as your main cutter. Thank you so much

Went here because it was closer than my usual salon on Hillsborough, never going here again. I chose first available and had ALISON cut my hair. I told her "hey, my hair shrinks because its wavy, i just want it to the collar bone with long layers". I told her again that it will shrink. She cut it ABOVE the collar, "4" which i think was too much and it clearly was. My usual will cut BELOW the collar because he KNOWS wavy hair SHRINKS and will sit right AT the collar. Idk how im supposed to put my hair up for work now because its TOO short. i said please make sure it can be put up in a ponytail and she assured me it could. I cant see squat without my glasses. When we were done i saw it was shorter than i asked for. The layers are too short to reach into the hair tie.. idk what im going to do now. I shouldve just driven to Hillsborough another day and seen my regular. Also, this WASNT 30 minutes. I have never been washed and cut so fast in my life, honestly. It was 15 minutes and it shows. The dandruff she kept bringing up to me about is still very visible too, she didnt wash well enough i guess. Im depressed i havent been able to wash in a while. Now i feel terrible and have to wash myself at home. I should have checked the reviews before even booking, i just wanted to get this done and over with, now im screwed up.

I normally have Ralph cut my hair and he has always been great. I needed to get a last minute haircut before a funeral, and Luz was my stylist. I asked for a 1 on the sides, scissors on top, and get rid of my beard. She was nice and did pretty much what I asked for, but … her equipment was not great. Her big clippers had a hard time cutting through my thick hair. It felt like it was yanking my hair out, not cutting it. The smaller clippers she used to remove the bulk of my beard kept nicking me. The foil shaver she used on my beard was awful and also kept nicking me. I also have my doubts about the cleanliness of the tools she used on my beard, as I am laying here in bed a few hours later with a painful red welt and itchy spots on my neck. And now I’ll be wearing a dress shirt and tie at this funeral with a painful, swollen, itchy neck. Not cool.

I started coming to the Hair Cuttery back in August. I have used Winkle as my stylist each time and he is awesome. He is so friendly, listens to what you want, and discusses the process. I have thin hair and he has given me tips on how to care for it. He cut my daughter’s hair in November and did the same. What we thought was dandruff was the shampoo/conditioner residue eating at her scalp. He made a suggestion and her scalp is so healthy. No more issues.

Annette is a Queen literally! Her presence just screams diva I love her! She did wonders on my autistic daughters hair (shes so sensitive and is super difficult to keep still and brush) and Ms Queen did her thing quickly and it came out perfectly! I love her hair so much I will be coming back again and again! Thanks Annette!

I walked in was taken care of by Alison with no wait. I received one of the best haircuts that I’ve had in a long time. I have difficult hair and Alison took the time to make sure I was happy. I will definitely return!
