LOVE Salon & Beauty Lounge

I usually don’t do this sort of thing, but i am beyond upset. I have went to this salon multiple times before and everything worked out perfect. This time however, is a totally different story. I went to someone i hadn’t been to before because the girl i wanted was busy. I scheduled a balayage (3+ hrs and haircut) and an eyebrow wax with Carly. My appointment started at 10. She was okay at first, kinda complained about how she didn’t like doing highlights, but okay. at 1:00 she said "i’m running behind, your appointment should be done by now" (this is important for later) about 30-35 mins later she washed out my hair and did my brows, the brows turned out nice, but the roots were an ugly orange and the bits of blonde i had were stained that same rusty color. she told me that she could fix it and I tried my best to trust her (even tho I just really wanted to cry) She used this bright reddish violet color on my roots and worked on my hair for another hour and a half or so. by the time she was done my roots totally didn’t match the rest of my head and was this dark red. she started tearing up bc of how bad it looked. i go on vacation next week and don’t have enough time to fix and told her i didn’t want my haircut, i just wanted to go back home. the owner, who seems like such a nice woman, tried to see if i wanted Carly to try to fix it again, but by that time i had been there for 6 hours and was tired of my hair being messed up. after i got my hair dried i went to the front counter and Carly tried to make me pay half for the hair. I said that i would pay for the eyebrows, but i am unhappy with the hair. she said to me "you’re only unhappy with your roots right." I said yes, but i was also here for 6 hours. She then gets upset with me saying that the balayage is 3+ hrs and she was here for 6hrs as well. I would like to point out she said my appointment should have been finished at 1:00, and i didn’t get the included haircut. She also complained about her using 45 dollars worth of product- which wouldn’t have happened if she didn’t botch my hair.

I’m a guy with long curly hair and I recently had my hair cut by Lexi. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. I highly recommend her and will be back whenever I need mine cut again. 10/10

Leigh, the shop owner, is wonderful at her craft as well as owning a business. Her customer service skills are something I aspire to have one day. I originally came to her for a color correction (shown in pics). She put every bit of love into it and the second pic is a few days after. I’m the type of person to come once every 6 months to a year because of many reasons but one being it feels like a task to me rather than an enjoyable experience. Since my first time, I’ve scheduled consistent appointments and see her every two months. I look forward to coming not only because she understands what I want and puts her heart into giving me everything I want and more, but also because she and all of the artists that work along side her have the most beautiful souls. "Love" salon is the best name for this business. Your hair, heart and soul will feel all the love and you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated in every way.

Phenomenal service with affordable price. Employees are skilled and up to date on latest techniques and trends. Salon had a classic and sophisticated feel. I haven't stopped getting compliments on my hair
