Couldn’t even give me a decent wash and set my roots were still curly. Ask for my ends trimmed it was an extra charge. Doesn’t even cut any hair off. Charged me 150 bucks, bc I have "a lot of hair". Owner also went on a religious rant about how they don’t agree with lgbtq "lifestyle" and that we need to pray for them. Which made me extremely uncomfortable.

I highly recommend Whip My Hair Salon b/c Raquel is an awesome, super talented hair stylist. She truly cares for her client's hair, and always has my hair looking beautiful whether in its naturally curly state or w/ a full sew-in. She also has a wonderful personality and makes me feel welcome like I'm family. I truly couldn't be happier and am thankful that I finally found the perfect salon to meet my hair care needs. I went for a wash and trim to shoulder length, then back next time for my first ever pixie cut. I have very fine straight hair, and I am convinced that Raquel is really good at what she does. She listens carefully to what you ask for, is polite, and makes you feel welcome. Planning to bring my mom there to try out their new nail services soon.

If you want someone to take great care of your hair and who has experience, see the Whippah, Raquel‼️ I can do my own hair but I schedule with Raquel when I want to treat myself. She has patience for thick 4c hair 😊🙌🏾

Atmosphere is very aesthetic. Hairdressers are polite, I will not take that from them, but...I spent 5 hours there although I had an appt. Saffie did my hair, whom I loved as he is a pleasant and skilled young man but I got charged full price because master hairstylist placed my closure. I didnt think that good business but it is what it is. The sides of my hair are thinner, so instead of using a net or finding another way to hold flat, the thread placed to anchor closure down was visible on the side and I was unable to hide it. It also dug into my scalp. I will say, however, that the owner offered I come in to "loosen" but I declined as I was already turned off by wait without apology and the overcharge. It's too bad because I would have loved to go back because like I said I really like Saffie and think he will be a force to reckon with when he has become master stylist. He cut my hair as I requested and I liked that he listened. Unfortunately, I have to waste a substantial amount of money taking it out and making an appointment downstate. I didnt know much about closures or their process but the invaluable lesson I learned by visiting this place is to research, speak up beforehand and step off if I do not like something.

Horrible experience. #1Let me start by saying my appt was at 1p but i came early at 12:30pm so they cpuld bleach the knots on my closure. The closure came out orange when parted and the roots was gold from being over bleached. #2The girl who braided my hair did it extremly to tight and had nerves to ask me was i tender headed. Noooo but that doesn't mean to stressmy hair like she did #3 Raqual took off to go to wendys..which is literally 5mins down the street..took her a whole hr to come back...forgot i had an appt and thought i was a walk in when asked would she finish in a timely manner when she came back. #4 because she wouldnt she passed me back to the girl who braided my hair. SHE DID A HORRIBLE JOB!!! My hair was thin with tracks showing . #5 my last complaint is that when i took my hair out a whole bundle was missing. I was very disappointed because after seeing raquals work i expected better....i didnt leave the shop till 4pm..but because of this appt i will never go back or recommend this salon to anyone!!

Atmosphere is comphy, the stylists do their thing. I went last week to get my lashes done with my friend, by the end of the night, my friend removed her lashes, I noticed my left side was separated and one side weighed down this making it noticeable, okay, I have adhesive , no biggie, but my right eye, the glue was so thick and the lashes were placed right on my lif that it's been red and swollen for 3 days now and because there was so much glue, it pulled out my natural lashes and looks like she only attatched the lashes to the top layer of my lashes as you can see a gap between my lashes and the ones she placed. I wont go back to get it fixed however I would go back to have my hair done
