The hair stylist is quick to respond. But the soonest appointment I could get was 3 weeks ahead. The price was about $27,which is an amazing price. But that's just about the only pros of going to this place imo. I showed him a few pictures, but the result was nothing like I requested... It looks so bad, the new haircut aged me about 10 years minimum. I could have cut my own hair, and it would still have come out looking about the same, if not better. (And I'm not professionally trained, which is saying a lot). My hair length was mid-back, and I was getting tired of split ends and heavy weight of my hair. I asked him to cut my long hair to just below shoulder length. And he said, "Are you sure your husband/boyfriend wouldn't be upset? Wouldn't he like long hair?" I was pretty shocked that there were people who would still say something so sexist in the 21st century. It's my own hair and my own body, so I'll do what I want with it, thank you very much.

I go to Mr Kim regularly for haircuts and soft wavy perms! He is AMAZING. One of the kindest most gentle hair stylists I’ve ever had. Do not hesitate to try him out! Each time I go he does a 10/10 job. He’s the first person I got a perm from and he achieved exactly what I was going for. So kind. So friendly. Amazing at what he does. 10/10 fr!!!

Very friendly person, quick to respond texts for appointments. He carefully listened to the haircut I was expecting. Showing some photo references was helpful, I got the exact same haircut. One of friends recommended him and I am happy that she did! Price was reasonable too! Will come back again. Note: Currently, he is with CS Salon and Spa Suites (in between Mamaka Bowls and Cavalier Cigar shop; location is tricky to find from University Dr).

Mr Kim is the best! I relaxed my curls around this time last year, and my roots started growing back curly. I was ready to go back to my natural curls. He managed to get my curl pattern exactly so now my whole hair looks even better than before I got my perm! Thanks Mr Kim!!
