The Studio Hair Salon Downtown Cleveland

This was the first time going to this salon, and I am so happy that I did!! Emmi consulted with me initially to figure out how to add more dimension to my blonde hair. I am blown away by how beautiful the coloring turned out. I’m ecstatic that I found this place and look forward to becoming a regular customer of Emmi’s!! I’m updating my review again to share how pleased I still am with this salon! I was ready for a change in color in which I shared a photo with Emmi and she matched it perfectly! This is such a great salon, Raegan and Emmi bouncing ideas & thoughts off each other shows what support they offer one another. I used to hate getting my hair done regularly but this salon makes you feel like you’re just getting your hair done hanging with friends!! So glad I found them!!

It was my first time visiting this salon, and I was absolutely blown away by Emmy! I went in hoping for a great haircut, and she exceeded all my expectations. The cut was perfect, and my hair looked and felt amazing. Emmy clearly has a real talent. She took her skills and transformed my hair in a way I didn't think was possible. I was truly amazed by the results. She's a consummate professional and a true expert. It felt like she had magical hands! For a first-time experience, it was exceptional, and I can't wait to go back.

This business demonstrates a poor disability-informed practice. I called them and asked for a consult and specifically told them about a medical issue and my concussion history. I told them that I have a sensitive head and I can’t have anything bumping my head during a haircut. They assured me that they could do the job. So I sit down in the chair, and immediately she bumped the top of my head with a comb. And then she says "I didn’t even realize." and "I didn’t know what you meant." You can’t mess around with someone’s medical situation like that. (Update) In her response, the owner did not apologize on behalf of the stylist for what happened, or take any responsibility tor the incident. Instead, it seems she is suggesting the issue is with me for having a medical condition. She should understand that there have been stylists at other salons that have successfully dealt with my situation and cut my hair. Her salon was not one of them. The owner’s response to my difficult situation does not make me think any more highly of her business.

We were in town this weekend for my husband's company outing and I desperately needed my hair styled beforehand. I found this cute little salon via Google and scheduled an appointment with Hazel. Hazel is the kindest, moat amazing stylist. She went above and beyond to meet my expectations. I highly recommend Hazel for any of your styling needs. Thank you so much, Hazel!

I had my hair cut and colored by hazel a few weeks ago and the color has lasted beautifully… she gave me a cut that made me feel so beautiful and confident. Not to mention she was so sweet and professional, I highly recommend this studio and Hazel as a stylist!

As a potential new client, I scheduled a consultation to correct balayage back to my natural color. When booking, I was told this would be a consultation only and a "scalp health check," and that the actual service would require a second appointment. I was also asked to explain my request again via text and send photos of my hair ahead of time. I arrived a few minutes early for my consultation-only appointment, but after being told I would be helped shortly, I waited about 15 minutes past my scheduled time with no update or communication. Both stylists were fully engaged with other clients, with no indication of when I would be seen, so I chose to leave. I didn’t receive any services, so I can’t speak to the quality of the work, but the experience felt disorganized and disrespectful of my time, especially given that this was a consultation only and I had already provided detailed information in advance.

I booked this salon to get make-up and hair done for me, my daughter and granddaughters. Not knowing where to go I booked it due to proximity to our downtown hotel. It was easy to get to. We walked over which was convenient. The two hair stylists were on time, very professional, but personable. They were very sweet to my little granddaughters. The stylists really listened to what we wanted and everything turned out beautifully! Great experience, and I would totally recommend them!
