I've been going to my hairstylist for over a year and she is truly incredible. If this review were about her, it would be five stars every time. Unfortunately, it's about the salon owner, whose behavior is consistently rude, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for someone running a business. From my very first appointment, she set the tone. I walked in with a Starbucks for myself and my stylist... completely unaware the salon had a café (which was closed, by the way). Instead of a normal greeting or a simple "Just so you know, we have coffee here," she loudly blurted out, "Who brings Starbucks here?" as if I had just broken a house rule. Not exactly the welcoming vibe you expect when you're coming in to spend money. Her attitude has been the same every visit since: dirty looks, zero acknowledgment unless you're her direct client, and an overall negative energy that shifts the whole room the second she walks in. And it's not just me. My best friend and my mom have both gone to the same stylist and experienced the exact same treatment from the owner. The same snarky comments, the same judgmental looks, the same cold, uninviting demeanor. So it's clearly a pattern, not a one-off. One moment that really stuck with me: it was just me, my stylist, and the owner in the salon. My stylist stepped into another room, so I raised my voice slightly to make sure she could hear me. The salon was empty. Yet I overheard the owner mutter, "Why is your client so loud? She's in a salon." Instead of speaking to anyone directly or respectfully, she chose to insult a paying client behind their back. Completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Even if YOU the paying client says hi to her she looks you up and down and gives a cold hi back. At this point, the only reason I've ever tolerated stepping foot into this salon is because of my hairstylist. Who deserves better, and so do her clients. If you value professionalism, respect, and a welcoming environment, I'd strongly recommend booking with these amazing stylists anywhere else if they offer services at another location. The talent here is great. The owner is the problem.

$295 and 4 hours later all for me to end up with not what I wanted not even close to what I asked for. I’m so disappointed I feel scammed out of my money and the fact the owner herself was trying to justify act defensive towards a stylist who told me she’s only been doing hair for a year. . Which while the owner was doing a consult for my hair she said she would also be doing my hair along with some other stylist but only one stylist did my hair. When I was asked if I liked my hair I gave her my honest opinion which was that I hated it its orange gray parts streaks and nothing like the picture I showed her during the consultation. This was my second salon paying $300 for nothing making false promises asking for inspo pictures all to tell me that you weren’t that person stylist so that’s why my hair doesn’t look like that but during my consult I explained that I had a terrible experience at the last salon because again I showed them my inspo and my hair looks nothing like that which she said she could fix they could give me what I wanted reason why I sat down. She did offer to fix this with toner or whatever but my issue is after 5 hours why are we fixing this ? Which she changed her wording said that toner is needed to fix it sometimes but again why are we fixing it after I’ve been here for 5 hours and it just can’t be fixed because it looks nothing like what I asked for I should be done going on about my day loving my hair. Wish I could post the video of this whole situation I’m not happy the way it was handled either trying to belittle me infront of everyone and involving other customer there as well. Just no terrible experience 😔

Do not go for color. They did permanent color for grey coverage. And today when getting my hi lights the color lifted pinckish. And my base color for grey coverage is dark brown. It might be the line or they messed up the color at the bowl and then covered it with the correct dark brown.

I used to be the girl who would go from salon to salon, never really happy with how my hair turned out, until a friend recommended Sarah! I have been getting my hair done at hidden beauty since it opened in the alley. I always book with Sarah and she does amazing balayage, highlights and haircuts. I always leave her salon feeling great and loving the end results! The little cafe bar is also super cute and delicious!

Had a great experience at Hidden Beauty Salon! The atmosphere was amazing and very welcoming. My stylist was Gina, and she did such a beautiful job cutting my hair. It came out exactly how I wanted it! (I went from having hair all the way down to my butt to cutting it to my shoulder, so a big cut) She also gave me some really helpful tips on how to style my hair, so I left not only feeling beautiful but also confident.

Went to hidden beauty for the first time to get my nails done. Angie did a great job and was very kind always asking me questions to make sure I was satisfied with the colors and shape of my nails. Definitely would recommend

Amazing salon and staff, I’ve been getting my hair done by the owner Sarah for a few years now and she always does an amazing job. Since Sarah wasn’t available the last time I went she booked me with Paulina, she so sweet and talented. I love her work. Highly recommend Hidden Beauty Salon. ❤️
