Customer Reviews
707 Hair Studios has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 219 reviews on Google
I should have listened to the other bad perm review. I had a very disappointing experience with Elliot. I came in for a perm and left with hair that was curly when wet but dried straight and frizzy — clearly not the intended result. When I returned to have it fixed, Elliot acknowledged it didn’t look right but simply wet my hair (which made it curly again, temporarily) and claimed it was fixed. He then sent me out with wet hair because he had another appointment. No real correction was made. He was also noticeably more rough during the correction appointment — I had to ask him to be more gentle, which shouldn’t be necessary with a professional. Lastly, the pricing was not transparent. I was quoted $120–$150 after my consultation, but was charged $275. While the cost isn’t the issue, the lack of clear communication was frustrating. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. I cannot recommend this stylist based on my experience. Edit: To your comment, I was advised only against perming the two bleached sections at the front of my hair, with no mention of the rest. I signed a waiver acknowledging the risks associated with double processing those two blonde pieces, and I was fine with the result of those areas. However, my concern lies with the rest of my hair, for which I did not sign a waiver and was not made aware of potential risks. Following my review, legal action was promptly threatened.
My two daughters used to visit Eliot for his kid haircuts, but this weekend had the pleasure of getting their hair cut by Ruby and Patty. Both stylists did a phenomenal job - my older daughter got a trim and a beautiful blowout by Ruby, and my younger daughter got a stylish bob by Patty. We love the studio and recommend it, especially for parents with kids looking for an elevated haircut experience!
I recently had a balayage and haircut with Adam, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I came in unsure of what I wanted, but Adam was incredibly patient and offered thoughtful options he felt would work best for me. I’ve experienced a great deal of loss and sadness over the past few months, and this was the first time in a long time that I looked in the mirror and truly saw myself again—even when I didn’t quite know what that looked like anymore. I’m so grateful for his care, skill, and kindness.
707 Team are kind and very welcoming! Patricia has been my hairstylist for some time now and I’m always impressed with the results! She’s very thorough when explaining my hair type and what to expect. Both of their locations are neat and the vibes are so relaxing.
I went to the salon for a haircut one week and the next week for a double process with special placement foils with the same stylist for both appointments. I was charged for flat iron curl styling with my haircut since that’s how I booked it, but was did not receive it. I have received the refund for this issue, so at least this was resolved. However, I had an issue with my coloring experience. I know that this review will probably prompt a response from the owner’s, but the proof is in the pictures and in the fact that I had to get it corrected at another salon with a stylist who confirmed they did not correctly process my hair to achieve what I wanted. I called the salon the Monday after my appointment to explain that I was unhappy and look for resolutions. I was met with one of the co-owners belittling me the entire conversation and treating me like a child and also falsely claiming that I had box dye on my hair. I have never had someone talk to me so rudely in my life and they ultimately saw no issue with how my hair looked. By the time I spoke with the other owner (who was much nicer), I had no faith that this salon was a place that I could trust again. I was only offered to tone down the roots for free, but the issue was more than just the roots since my hair was not a dark copper beyond the top of my head. When I went to get it fixed at a different salon, the stylist who worked to correct their mistakes said that they should not have bleached me as light as they did and should have lifted my entire head instead of the way they did which resulted in the top half being red and the bottom half blonde and browns. Going to this salon was such a waste of time, money, and energy especially since another stylist proved that this look was easily achievable in one sitting. I have included pictures with my review of what I received and the reference photo because I believe this will show more truth to anything beyond my words or what the salon may reply with.
This place was awesome. The owner cut my hair and he was super humble and helpful - just a good dude. The energy in there was really positive and they did a great job on my hair.
Absolutely blown away by my experience. This was more than just a haircut, it was an act of artistry and care. I came in with a clear vision of the style I wanted, since I normally cut my own hair and I had requested a wolf cut (I have long hair for reference). It was something I was a bit nervous about, and not only did they listen attentively to every detail, but Eliot Munro delivered a cut that somehow looked even better than I had imagined. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical skill with such a thoughtful eye for what flatters your unique features. I walked out feeling more confident, refreshed, and genuinely seen. I cannot recommend this business highly enough, whether you know exactly what you’re looking for or you need guidance, you’re in the best hands. Thank you guys so much!!!
