My overall experience was fair. Nicole was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through the process while explaining everything along the way. My main goal for the appointment was to remove the warm/red tones in my hair. Unfortunately, I didn’t see a major difference after my first visit, which was a bit discouraging. In addition, my hair now appears to be three different colors, which was not what I was expecting. That said, I do believe Nicole did the best she could with what she was given, and she feels confident that we can eventually get to my desired result, which I appreciate. While we agreed on pricing at the beginning of the appointment, the cost felt a little high given the lack of noticeable change. Overall, Nicole provided great service—I’m just not fully happy with how my hair looks at this time.

It’s crazy that I have been to 3 salons and they could not get a simple haircut that I want. Thanks to XO hair lab and Adelaide I finally got the haircut I’ve always wanted! Adelaide was also able to teach me how to style my hair and I loved it! They were also able to accommodate me even if I have my toddler with me (unlike other salons who cancelled my appt just because I have my toddler with me). Will keep on coming back! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful experience with stylist Tiffany who cut my daughter’s hair. It’s wild how she would ask for a pixie cut and kept coming home looking like Anna wintour. We will def be future customers and I plan to schedule cuts for myself and my son. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, couldn’t be happier. AND they carry my fave shampoo momo 🙂

I want to gatekeep XO Hair Lab and ESPECIALLY working with the level 3 stylist queen herself, Catherine... but I won't because after over 3 years of consistent obsession and healing experiences here - I know that everyone needs some of this in their life. All of the customer experience details they have are amazing, and I know most reviews will talk about the tangible things- like free snacks, a quiet room, beautiful flowers and design everywhere... but I want to talk more about the intangible successes I've had here. Prior to going here, I spent years trying to find salons that made me feel like I was welcome, seen, heard, and there to be genuinely helped and pampered. The environment at XO Hair Lab is so friendly and inclusive - everyone is so kind, and it feels like you're in a room full of a hardworking hype squad... because you are!! For being in a salon so aesthetic and beautiful, everything and everyone are all incredibly efficient, tech forward, and always on the move. Everyone moves quickly but gracefully (not rushed or stressed!) to adapt, to make changes, and to communicate to each other and the customer what's next, what is needed, and generally what to expect as a result of your asks or interests. I'm not a hair expert and sometimes have difficulty explaining what I prefer or what I'm looking for - but Catherine always helps me talk it out and helps me narrow in on what I'm comfortable with and what's most reasonable for my timeline, price, upkeep, future changes, etc. Catherine's ability to communicate well, and be able to make me smile and laugh are just as high-performance as her stylist skills. After 3 hours in a chair for full balayage (hand-painted!!) sessions on my long, dark hair- I genuinely feel so rejuvenated because it's really a ton of yapping and laughing. I loved working with Catherine and XO Hair Lab so much - that I recently gifted a session to one of my friends that was in a little rut and needed a pick-me-up. She had never had her hair professionally colored before. I surprised her with the session and sat beside her in the chair as a comfort and a connection - but it wasnt long before she and Catherine had not only started making a dream vision for her hair come to life, she also had her spilling secrets and cracking jokes in a way I hadn't seen her sparkle in a long time. That experience was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have been seeing Carmela for a while now, and every appointment I leave I feel more beautiful and uniquely myself. Carmela is very knowledgeable and teaches me a lot about my hair, how to care for it, etc. I have the utmost trust in Mela when I sit in her chair cause I know I will leave looking phenomenal. I am very much obsessed with my hair and cannot wait to come back!

My first time coming to this beautiful salon was in 2022, and I was in a total panic because my hair was a mess and my usual salon had just canceled on me. I called hoping someone could help, and Amanda welcomed me in with open arms right away. I’ve never felt so seen and cared for. Since that day, I’ve been going to her consistently, and every single time she makes me feel beautiful! The owner is also an absolute gem who makes everyone feel loved and welcome.

Best salon in town. Catherine did some grey blending on me today and it is perfect. She is knowledgeable, explained every step of the plan and was fast! This new color goes beautifully with the cut Carmella gave me 2 weeks ago that is the BEST cut I have ever had for my curly hair! Beautiful space, wonderful, friendly stylists and front desk. I will be a long time customer.
