I cannot recommend TJ enough. He did such an incredible job on my cutting my hair, not just technically, but artistically. He really listens, pays attention to detail, and makes you feel comfortable the entire time. I decided to trust him with full creative freedom, and it was the best decision. He styled my hair in a way I wouldn’t have even thought of, and it suits me perfectly. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in his work. I walked out feeling beautiful and confident.

This salon is amazing! I drive over 30 minutes from Virginia Beach to visit Haley. She ALWAYS gives me exactly what I’m requesting when I go in and always does whatever she can to accommodate me and what I want done to my hair. The staff is friendly and professional. The salon is well maintained and nicely decorated. I always look forward to my appointments at La Bella Chic!!!

I recently moved to VA, and was looking for a new salon. I reached out here and from the start they were very kind and attentive. Haley does my hair, and she does one FANTASTIC job. She’s knowledgeable, respectful, always makes sure you are comfortable with everything and genuinely cares for you. I always leave feeling like I’m a top model. DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!

So I went in for a Balayage. I wanted a darker color on my hair. The girl that was performing my service was new and nervous and so she was consulting with another woman. The other woman told her what color to use. First thing I noticed was that it was a lighter color than I had requested. Then I noticed that it didn’t even color my grays. The girl performing the service also noticed it didn’t fully cover and said she could spray more color on afterward. She started on my haircut before putting the other color on. She cut and cut trying to make it even but every strand of my hair is a different length. I stopped the service from there because I noticed it wasn’t going well for her at all and didn’t feel confident that she or the other woman she consulted with could get me the rest of the hair color I wanted. So they told me I owed them $105 for what I am not sure! I didn’t get the color or grays covered that I requested. I didn’t get a proper haircut. I took them 3 hours to totally mess my hair up and I wasn’t going to stay there any longer for them to TRY to fix it as my 7 yr old son was there waiting with me. I have had these services in the past from other people and had what I wanted done within that time frame. So I called back up there later that afternoon and wanted to speak with a Manager to get my money back. Apparently that isn’t their store policy to give people their money back when they completely botch it! They said they have to be given a chance to fix it. I can’t believe this place! I do not recommend! So I went back so they could fix my hair. They set me up with their "Master Stylist" Rhonda. But why have a no refunds policy and say you’re going to fix it, if when the customer returns your new stylist is passive aggressive the whole time and then finally when you have had enough and get upset then she runs her mouth even more?! Arguing with the customer is the policy you hold there?! They just tried to embarrass me and upset me the whole time! Never accept their "fixing" your botch jobs, always argue harder to get your money back because if you go back they will just gang up and try to embarrass you! Rhonda followed to the door running her mouth at me as I was trying leave! The most unprofessional place I have ever been to and I have been to a number of salons all over this country!

I had Hailey highlight and cut my hair. She was very professional and did a wonderful job! She listened and offered suggestions. Key word being listened! It was a new salon and new stylist for me and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I booked another appointment for 8 weeks. Hello new hair home! P.S. she made me laugh!

I’ve been going to see Rhonda for months now to keep my awful gray roots covered. She always does a great job! She works with me to figure out which color will best keep the grays from being too noticeable and her cuts are always what I ask for. The salon is clean, and the staff always greets me and is accommodating. It’s close to my home and convenient. Would recommend!

Was very excited to go to this salon. I had my hair cut by Sierra. I thought she had done a great job until I got home and saw that half of my head was uneven. I went right back and was able to get it fixed. However, I am still finding uneven parts. Even after this, I was willing to give it another shot until today. I scheduled an appointment for my 11 year old daughter after speaking with Sierra about her and doing her hair. She had an appointment scheduled for today. Three hours prior to our scheduled appointment, I received a phone call that Sierra was doing something that would require a lot of time and that she couldn’t see my daughter today or at all because she only works one day a week and no longer sees kids. I wish I would have been told this upon scheduling my appointment three weeks ago. Because it seems that a client can so easily be brushed off, even with the offer of seeing someone else this week and the experience with my cut I have chosen to go elsewhere for services.
