I went to see Tio recently and got the sunset hair of my dreams. She was incredibly patient and kind. Went over exactly want I wanted and showed color swatches to me to make sure we got the exact shades I was hoping for. I also got a wonderful hair cut here to. For anyone looking for a new hair salon I highly recommend this place. I know I'll definitely be going back.

My experience here was fantastic! The studio is very comfortable and inclusive. The stylists are incredibly real and friendly. Sidney did my hair and did an amazing job. It's definitely worth the hype!!

Moonflower is amazing and so are all the folx that work there! They do a great job making it known that EVERYONE IS WELCOME in their salon! Paige in particular is super talented and is always so kind and welcoming to everyone who sits in her chair! She made me feel welcome as a member of the LGBTQIA community immediately and as a client her quiet confidence put me at ease right away! She has always worked hard to be an ally and a safe space for all because she is a wonderful human! She has a heart of gold and does a fantastic job working her hair magic! I highly recommend her to anyone in need of incredibly well done hair services!

Everything about the experience with Moonflower is attentive and wonderful. I walked in with dreadful hair and walked out looking better than I had looked in years. Heck, I even look like I lost a few years of aging - just with an exactly right for me haircut. As a new customer, my first call to make an appointment was a complete pleasure: rather than a rushed and impersonal administrative function, it was a personable introduction, like that first contact on what you know will be a great friendship. The salon is in a great location: located within an artsy converted railway warehouse (think a la Wynwood Arts in Miami), Salonfront parking in the parking lot is readily available. A word of warning: if you use Waze, it will direct you to the non-passable backside of the parking area and apparently Waze expects you to gather enough speed to go airborne and breach a concrete wall and loading dock. Just drive around the block to find the entrance. The salon itself is small and has a great creative energy. Exactly my preference Teodora, the owner, cut my hair. The consultation was not rushed, she quickly understood my concerns (who couldn’t? My fine wavy hair had looked like it was recovering from an unfortunate incident with a weed whacker.). Before I knew it I was looking at the new (well years younger) me in the mirror. Every single one of my concerns was addressed. No upselling. No attempts to convert me surreptitiously from my wash-n-wear lifestyle. No sales pitches for pricey products (just knowledgeable recommendations at my request) or procedures. Just an absolutely perfect for me haircut at a reasonable price. I loved my experience so much that I can’t wait for my hair to grow enough to have to go back! If you’d like services with a salon that works with you to cut YOUR hair as opposed to sending everyone out of the door with one of a narrow range predetermined cuts, this IS the place. Just don’t so many of you make appointments that I end up with a 12 week wait. Haha. 🙂

Callie is top tier. This was my first time getting my hair dyed and I had no idea how to describe what I wanted or if I was even sure what I wanted. She took her time looking at pictures with me and listening to my concerns until we found the style that might work best. The day before the appointment I wanted to switch it up a little but still could not describe exactly what I wanted and she figured that out too. I had a million concerns because my hair is naturally very curly and damages easily but she explained every product she uses and why to help calm my fears. I am in love with the end result, it is exactly what I envisioned and I’ve received lots of compliments. Highly recommend!!

Paige is amazing! She was willing to adjust her schedule to fit me in for a cut while my girlfriend was getting a color and cut. My girlfriend and I were able to make it a date day all because Paige helped make it happen!! I have curly hair, which can be a difficult and complex cut and Paige was so excited to cut my hair using techniques she’s learned through her experience. I love my cut and I get so many compliments on my hair!! Paige is amazing and I had the best time while in her chair! The atmosphere her and the fellow stylists create is also so relaxing and chill, I felt so welcomed and attended to. An amazing overall experience! Thank you Paige for all you did for us!
