Amazing cut! Joy specializes in ONLY cutting and styling CURLY HAIR... She took the time to walk me through the process and cut the curls dry. This is the first time in my adult life that I've had a cut, tailored for curly hair, and did not have to fight with the stylist not to blow out my hair. I rarely wear it straight so why would I want to leave the salon not really knowing how my curls fall? When they actually didn't blow it out, I left the salon and immediately pulled it back because my hair was a frizz ball... Joy at Joyfully curly made sure I left ready to go and my hair was perfection. The best part is, I can style it by myself, the way she showed me, so I can have salon style look everyday. I am so happy with my cut and that I finally found Joy.

Joy is very knowledgeable and passionate about curly hair. She's helped me completely change the way I take care of and style my hair. I came in with a list of questions on how to maintain it between cuts and she answered each one of them thoroughly. She even answered my questions after I left the salon. I feel like I have a new head of hair. I haven't straightened it so I don't know what the cut looks like other than naturally but I absolutely love the dry cut! Joy is EXTREMELY skilled in curly or wavy hair care & styling! I was fortunate to get an appointment with her this week and I have to say she gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had! My experience at Joyfully Curly was amazing! I got my first DevaCurl haircut and from the moment I walked in the door I was given great attention and made comfortable. I was talked to through my entire haircut and wash and given a ton of great information on products, curly hair techniques, and others great facts about curly hair. I came to Joy because my curls seemed to be getting flatter and flatter and after years of bleaching, straightening, and using oily products, my hair really needed some TLC. When booking my appointment she recommended a great line of curly hair products to prep my hair for the cut. After 4 weeks of waiting, my DevaCut is done and I am extremely happy with how my hair came out and I have an appointment set up for highlighting next!
